Ali Defy Skin, Skin Repair Line, Lavish Skin SCAMS
In my case, I got a Facebook solicitation in my news feed and decided to try the sample. There was no mention of any other charges, subscription service or anything. I later found where they charged me full price for the sample since I did not return it within 14 days and they began shipping more product with more charges. I called and cancelled, but they keep sending me product and charging my card. Bank agreed today to refund everything and block them completely. They're all a complete SHAM, so run (don't walk) away from anything to do with any of these products and alert everyone you know. The phone lines are fake, the shipping addresses are fake and it's one huge con game that never ends.
I sent for a sample of age defying cream and some eye cream. The offer was to pay shippingonly. I checked my credit card today and they put a charge of $89.97. I did not authorize them to do so.
I saw another complaint on here about New Age Skin Care, which uses Dr. Oz in its advertising. And I believe this is the same company, just using a different name.
This company advertised as Amore Skin Care, and had Dr. Oz all over its advertising. It offered a product for free except for shipping of $5. During the purchase, it tacked on another "free" product, for which I agreed to pay $6 shipping.
A "bill" poppped up on screen showing the price as $0.00.
I was reading very closely, and it all seemed ok. I figured they wanted you to try the product, like it and buy some more.
As it turns out, the whole thing was a scam, and they ended up charging my credit card $85 for the first product and $89 for the second one. Because I actually gave them my credit card info -- they didn't STEAL it -- the credit card company suggested that i should not dispute the charges -- even though the credit card company agreed that the operation is in fact shady.
Ordered free sample. the next month I was billed. was not told by ordering free sample I was going to be billed each month.tried to cancel and was told I waited to long to cancel. The biggest fraud I've ever heard of. Stay awayfrom this stuff.
