I bought a vehicle through Dedham Automall, which was as at a decent price. I got the car fax, which was clear. Signed on the car, at their price, no negotiations and brought the car home after it was supposed to be ready. Only to find out that it had significant damage 20 minutes after driving off the lot. I told them I no longer wanted the vehicle and that I'd buy another one on the lot that wasn't damaged. They didn't return my phone calls for weeks/months. I had to contact them every time. The guy looked at the car to assess it and told me that they wouldn't pay for anything but the bumper. I bought it during a snow storm and it's a white car. I brought it to an outside dealership to get the damage assessed and they assessed it at 2300 dollars in damage.
Dedham automall told me that they would cover the bumper (which was $300) in damage and that I had to cover the rest. They wouldn't let me out of the deal, wouldn't call me back and told me it was my responsibility to see the damage (part of it had been spray painted over and I have pictures of it). It wasn't that easy to see and they said they didn't know about it and got the car at an auction. So they finally told me after a ton of phone calls that I could pay at cost to have the rest repaired but they weren't. And I had to pay for a rental also for a week.
