On 03/20/20, I bought a "refurbished" Motorola G7 play. It arrived on 03/25/20. I tried setting it up but quickly discovered it had a Google security lock on it. I had never seen or heard of it before. Kept asking me to enter the original email that was associated with the phone. I called Motorola within 30 minutes of the phone delivery to see if they could tell me how to get the Google lock off.
They could not because it's a security lock. They advised me to contact Google. I called Google and they could not help either. I was then advised to return the phone for refund or replacement. I emailed decluttr, they provided a return shipping label. Now today, 04/02/20 they are refusing to refund my money and accusing me of the Google security lock. It's not mine. I'm beyond livid. Hopefully this will be settled in the honest and fair way by them providing a full refund.
This company has over 285 complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau for routinely defrauding consumers who have been quoted prices by them for various tech items consumers sold Decluttr including iphones, MacBooks via their iOS/Android app.
They received items from these consumers and then Consumers were not paid for the items they sent nor were their items returned to them due to a variety of issues including "never received it" "packages were lost" (despite carrier confirmations that said packages were perpetually "in transit") "check is in the mail" "we've sent Direct Deposit/PayPal payment on" until after consumers filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau online.
Consumers have also taken to writing about their experiences in the reviews area of the Decluttr iOS app available in the Apple App Store.

I've been selling off my CD collection and sent CDs to Decluttr in 12 separate orders over the past few months. I've had issues with a couple previous orders where they stated that there were a total of 4 CDs that were "NOT SENT" across 2 separate orders.
In my most recent (and final) order that I sent, they claimed that there were 7 CDs that were "NOT SENT". Because of the issues with previous orders I've been very diligent with packing orders to them. They create a pack slip to be included in the order, so I sort the CDs in the box so that they are in the same order as listed on the pack slip. Because of this even a child could easily determine that every CD is present and accounted for.
I also take a picture of the CDs in the box before sealing the box so that I have evidence that all CDs are included in the box.
I emailed their customer service last Monday about this order (including the picture showing the "missing" CDs in the box) and they never responded. I emailed them again on Saturday and they blew me off. The email chain is included below along with the photographic evidence supporting my claim (the picture showing all CDs in the box along with a cropped version of the picture with the "missing" CDs circled in red).
Some interesting statistics on the CDs that they had issues with. Across the 12 orders I sent a total of 811 CDs from 340 different artists. Yet they claim that there were 3 Deep Purple CDs that were missing across 2 orders, along with 2 Billy Squier CDs and 2 Bruce Dickinson CDs. It seems reasonable to assume that the employee that checked in these orders was a fan of Deep Purple, Billy Squire, and Bruce Dickinson and stole these CDs.
Do not do business with these thieves. I will provide updates here if I ever hear anything more from them regarding this issue.

They gave me a written receipt for $312.56 to send them 54 DVDs and Books but after I mailed two huge boxes to them they sent me a email with a $52.56 price instead of the $312.56 when I called them they said there was a cliche in the system. And they are not paying me what they promised in writing.
I sent 9 CDs to decluttr, got paid for 7 only. They stated one of them was damaged and one of them I listed I have not sent, which is a lie. I did send it.
I sent about 300 CDs with packing slips in each box. The promise that Decluttr makes is that the payment for your items will be made one day after your items are received and the direct deposit will show in your bank account within three business days. Decluttr received my items on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 and I still have not received payment. I wrote them about this on January 28. They replied on January 24 saying two items were missing and to let them know if I will be sending them. Well this is an email that they should have initiated after reviewing my order contents. If I had not inquired about my order, I have a feeling I would not have heard anything from them. I told them to just credit the amount of those items and make payment as soon as possible. On January 25 they replied and said they would pass that information on to the warehouse and my order would be completed without those items. It is January 29 and I still have not received any payment. I also have not seen any updates on my Decluttr.com account. It shows that 70% of my order is complete, just as it did on January 18.
I sent my merchandise in to Decluttr.com in November 11th, 2015. UPS says they delivered it on November 17th. It is now December 22nd and I have emailed them three times and have received no response. I haven't received payment whatsoever. Please do not use this sight.
