I took my car to McDavid Nissan dealership for service engine light. After having my car for more than 6 hours, the service advisor called me with a list of needed repairs. I was e-mailed a copy of the needed repairs and cost of those repairs. I noticed a few items were overly priced and decided to go with the needed reaairs to fix the initial problem. The repair cost was suppose to be 383.00 over the phone. I gave permission to do the repairs but when I got to the dealership service department, I was given another price, now 425.00 with taxes added. After paying that amount and on the way home, the service engine light came back on. I took my car back to the service department the next morning. I had to leave my car again. Approximately 1 hour later, the service advisor called and said there is a small leak that needs to be repaired but would require additional charges. I informed the service advisor that I have already paid them to fix this problem, which clearly they did not do the first time. I request they fix the initial problem, the one I have already paid to have repaired. Needless to say, they wanted more money and I refused to agree to that, so I was given my car back, still with the original problem "Service Engine Light" still on. Bad business. I checked McDavid web page, no place on their web page for Customer Complaints.
False information given to you when getting pre approve . Once you make the drive and take time. It's the opposite of what they tell you . Even after explaining your results. They still sure . And I only want to run my credit if it was a for sure deal. Not no let's see. I am in the process of fixing credit and I don't need another inquiry, especially if it was point less. Now that inquiry has affected my credit score .
