Even though this person has retired from Vanden from 2019, Mr. Long is a force that needs to be reasoned with and for future teachers to learn a lesson from. On one incident, I was taking a normal urinal in the restroom, and I noticed that I stood farther than usual, but still going in the urinal as usual.
And that was then he appeared out of nowhere just as I noticed my position, and there he accused me of peeing on the floor, even though it was already there as I walked in the restroom, nor did I add anything to the urine on the floor. I could not talk out of my way because I was insecure back then and that I did not want to make it any worse, even though I said it was already there.
And then David proceeded to tell me to grow up as he was accusing me, telling me that people who at least wear black clothing are troublemakers and gangbangers who deserve less than people like him do. It was as if he hated the mixed(Hispanic/Black/Asian) community and me in general.
And I threw a small tantrum in the bathroom and one of my closest teachers was worried about me and made me go to the principal's office, which was not the best solution. And so I told the whole story to principal Sarty, but he doesn't seem like he was going to help me at any minute, so then he claimed he would update me on the teacher, but it never happened. And so my parents thought I was the one at fault because of the urine accusations, even though the racism was more important.
I might or might not (most likely not) forgive the other people mentioned in this report, but I WILL never forgive David Long for being a racist teacher who thinks that people who wear black are mere troublemakers and deserve less.
