I paid Mike Moore of Daulton Contrsction $11500 (50%) to construct an outdoor kitchen and bar. He intially was very responsive. After the the first week or so he became unresponsive or lied about when he would be back out to complete the job. I was quote 3 weeks to complete, now we are into week 9 and he has not been on site in 3 weeks. I also paid him around 3K for upgarded granite and another 1500 directly to his mason. He never paid the granite yard or the fabricator for the granite and did deliver the Primo Smoker, Ice maker and refridgerator. So now I am trying to get the job completed myself! Do not work for, extend credit to or use him for any project!
I gave Mike Moore $11,200 of a $30,000 contract and have about $3,000 worth of work done and he won't call back or come finish the job. The contract was signed on March 29, 2017 and it took him till June 8, 2017 to finish a small patio and the base for one table and 1/4 of the other base for my grill and refrigerator.
I had another mason come by and he said that one of the bases will crack because it was installed with part of it one my existing patio and the other part on the new patio.
