On March 22nd of this year I got what was supposed to be a full blooded 11 week old Saint Bernard puppy. Stevie never never gave me a health certificate after I paid her and he was not up to date on shots and was infested with fleas and under weight. He battled a UTI for almost a month and a half and had colitis. The vet felt it was because of him living in a feces ridden chicken coop and not having access to fresh water. Stevie has a goat farm and the conditions where all the animals are was horrible. We saw her live stock guardian when we pulled up to the property who was an intact male Great Pyrenees. The mom saint was aggressive and she had to put her in a room when we got there. After putting some weight on him and two rounds of meds from the vet he started feeling better and then we noticed his wobbly walk. He started favoring his left leg around 6 months of age and we brought him to the vet for X-rays.
my Biggie has severe hip displaysia ans deformities in the feet which make him pigeon toes and tip toed. upon telling Stevie this she got nasty and didnt respond to emails or fb messages and blocked me from contacting her. We have seen 2 vets, a holistic vet, chiropractor and 2 orthopedic surgeons to help him. He is so severe and deformed that surgery isn't an option right now because his feet won't be able to handle the recovery since his legs are so atrophied. biggies littermate had inflamed intestines and was sicl for a month and she is now becoming aggressive towards other dogs just like the mom. we did a DNA test since we suspected him to be from the Great Pyrenees on the property. Biggie had double dew claws and the coat characteristic of that breed along with the height and bone structure. Test concluded he was 50% Great Pyrenees.
I love my boy and will do everything to save him but want to warn everyone of this horrible woman who is breeding just for money with aggressive and unhealthy dogs.
