I recently bought a nemo omen match 22" 300 win mag rifle from darc ops armory auctions. It was a used rifle and the money was going towards a good cause. Funds for a family member suffering from brain cancer. I thought great cause and I wanted to buy.
I was sold an omen on its last leg. They could not tell me the round count and claimed it was in great condition. They also promised to clean the rifle before shipping it out. I recieved it in a reused cardboard box, reused dirty bubble wrap. The rifle was covered with light brown dirt. The whole thing.
The FFL i sent it to, cringed when they pulled it out the box, because of all of the dust and dirt in the box. I reluctantly took it home. I field stripped the rifle and found numerous wtf's all over the rifle. This was the dirtiest rifle I have ever cleaned.
The lower was grinded down to mate better with the lower. Now their is slop between upper and lower. The entire bore was black and corroded. The gas tube protruding into the receiver was black. The barrel rifling showed signs of abnormal wear. The bolt and extractor were riddled with brass foulings. The rubber o ring in the extractor was deformed. The firing pin has a hairline crack right below the head, going all the way around. The patented recoil plunger head is cracked in two places.
Ive included pictures of everything.
Now I have handled this rifle before and have done a lot of research before purchasing, but I know what it supposed to look like. $6000 rifles are not supposed to look like this.
I live in Hawaii and darc ops is located in oklahoma. They are refusing my calls because it is a Hawaii number. Ive been calling for days. They are unethical and dishonest. Reviews on darc ops state that they sell damaged rifles. I should have known.
All their reviews say the same thing, so nothing new here. Me im out a lot of money. Grinding down the lower voided the warranty. The obvious use of the wrong bullet loads ruined the barrel life and also voided the warranty.
I contacted NEMO and sent them all the pictures. They said the rifle is unsafe to fire and is not eligible warranty. So im out $4000. I worked very hard to purchase this rifle. Now I have to save up $5600 and buy a brand new one.
I bought a 12 shot grenade launcher that was being sold for "a sick family member" for $5000. It was described as completely rebuilt and fully functional. It shipped to my door poorly packaged and rattling SEVEN WEEKS LATER. I opened it up to find a non functional launcher. Not only was it not rebuilt, it looked like it had served in Vietnam and been sitting in the jungle for a few years when someone found it, hosed it off, then shipped it to me.
Upon several calls and emails to Justin Duval (owner) and Tony K. Thomas (accounts manager) they informed me that "all sales are final", and "sorry you didn't read the description well". I pushed the issue and was hung up on several times so they avoid my calls now. So I'm out $5000!!! This was after Justin telling me I got an incredible deal on the launcher. These "men" are not to be trusted and will happily rip you off, so no matter how good the deal looks... DON'T DO IT! DON'T GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR MONEY! Seriously check around the internet, these guys are straight up con men.
Hello sir, I am the previous owner of the omen you bought. The gun was sent to Darc Ops as new and Thomas folkerson from Nemo can verify that because they went through the gun prior to it being sold. I'm am under the impression that Darc Ops used this gun prior to selling it as it took them a long time to auction it. Here's the real situation. I was never paid for the guns that they sold! They will not return my phone calls or emails and I am in the process of suing them you need to know the Omen in your possession has been reported STOLEN with ca DOJ. That's right I was NOT paid for the gun collection of mine that they sold to help raise money for my friend in need.
Please contact me at 559-905-5626 and we will go after these guys to get your money back my money paid and them shut down. Selling or possessing stolen fire arms is a felony and stealing money from trusting customers should be treated as well!!!! [email protected]
I purchased a Nikon M308 optic from Darc Ops Armory over the Internet. I sent the my money as directed (a cashiers check) and never received anything, no murchandise, no email, no phone call. I contacted Tony Thomas with Darc Ops Armory multiple times and each time he stated that he would take care of me and get me my optic. Now, nobody answers the phone or my emails and I still have received nothing. Darc Ops Armory is a fraudulent, unethical company which cannot be trusted to do business with. Scott, LHC AZ
In August of 2016, they sold me a Barrett .50 BMG M107A1 rifle for $12,000. Then they convinced me to send a new Leopold Mark IV scope ($2,700 value) to them in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I did. When delivery was delayed, Justin Duval offered to "off-set inconvenience” by selling me and mounting a Radius Laser Range Finder to the gun for $1,500. A series of excuses followed, usually blaming BATF for delays. Rifle and accessories never shipped. Darc Ops Armory now "scarce”. No working phone number. No way to contact. No response. Email threads lasting over a year are available upon request
