After realizing this was not affordable for me at this time, i called and informed them i wished to have my money refunded. I was then told their is no refunds. Considering i did not use any services druing a 2 day period, i believe a refund was justifiable. They will not even entertain the idea, even with the fact this will place me in a financial hardship. The cost is astronomical when you consider everything in the program costs you more. I don't want to retain the services of a lawyer, but if anyone knows of one who has worked on cases like this before please let me know. I did not want to take this route, but they are leaving me no other option. There is such a thing as Good Faith when it comes to contract law and i do not believe they acted in such a fashion.
I was contacted by a membership respresentative by the name of Wanda Crist. I had registered with an online dating website and this is how she found me. She was a very well-versed salesperson who would not accept, "let me think about this," and " I am not sure I am ready to do this." She assured me that all I would find on the dating websites was married men posing as single, telling me lies about themselbves. She told me that all the men in their dating service had back ground checks and that I would love the guys with their service. These were men of my like background. She wanted to know about my past relationships and told me I deserved to be loved and cared for and she knew exactly the men that she could connect me with. That there were great men just wanting for a woman like me. She told me that they do trips together and cruises. I told her I could not afford the service as this was thousands of $. She lowered the price and convinced me that I would spend this much dating outside of their service with men who came from backgrounds unknown. I asked her if there were any additional charges and she said the only additional charge would be for photos. She told me she was related Chuck Norris' sister...why, I am not sure. I found out chuck Norris does not have a siter. She told me she had been a previous rape counselor for women and told me the abuse I endure with my ex was terrible and that i had to be a strong example for my daughters and join for them. She showed me a stack of men photos and told me these men were ready to date. I was told to select 5 men and I they would contact them for me to set up a date. I was told I would be contacted when a man was interested in me. I thought they meant I woudl receive a call. No, everytyhing is done thru their online website and they do not call. You have to check the website to see if these men have replied. Half the profiles are inactive. There were additional charges I found out able later. Any function that you sign up for costs an additional charge. I went to their Christmas cocktail party which I paid $40 to get into. I was told that it was a black tie affair and the men would be in suits. This was a party for all ages. Was told 150 people had pre-paid. Got there and a majority of the people were over 60 and the men had obviously come to the group becasue they could not find a date any other way. It was not about same backgrounds at all. I thought I had stepped into some time warp. A gentleman about 20 yeras older than myself sat down and I started asking him what he liked about the service. He told me he had been with them a year and had not had one date. I have only been with them a month and I see now it was a complete scam. They will tell you any lie to get your money. You sign a paper to agree that your money is refundable.
