Daedalus VIP Insider has taken money from my paypal account 3 times since March 21. They claim Daedalus Books authorized it back in January, about the time I last ordered from Daedalus Books. I did not knowingly tell Daedalus to have these folks take my money.
I have not received any services, products, or even any communication from VIP insider. All I can find is online info about the supposed company. They give no clue about what they're doing with my money besides paying shareholder(s).
The same exact thing happened to me. When I called the Daedalus Books customer service line I was told that Daedalus VIP Insider was a separate company. I was able to get their number and called them. Their operator's explanation, such as it was, was that I had probably signed up "by accident". I told him that this was unlikely as I had no idea what Daedalus VIP Insider was and didn't want it. He told me that my name had been deleted an that I'd get my refund in a few days. We'll see.
