Hired Jose Garcia to install a concrete extension to my patio. After concrete dried, oil like stains appeared in several areas of the concrete.
I contacted Jose Garcia to report the issue. He promised he would return to look at the areas in question. He never showed up. I contact him again on several occasion after my initial contact, he ignored the issue and did not return to evaluate the stains or offered a solution to correct the failed correct.
Jose Garcia installed the concrete after it had rained the night before. The Ground was soaked with water. I asked an employee if the ground/soil was too wet. I was told "No" and the wet soil was okay to install the concrete as it would help in the curing process. The area was muddy.
The concrete has broken off in several areas. When I hired Jose Garcia, he promised that he did excellent work and would correct any issue. He did not keep his word.
He post on his website that he is a member of the BBB and Greensboro Builders Association. I contacted these agencies and Jose Garcia or his registered business name is not a member.
I contacted another concrete contractor; I was told that Jose Garcia should have not installed concrete under the wet condition.
Beware of Jose Garcia or his business (D&G Conctrete), as he is not trustworthy contractor.
