I hired Dennis McKenna to do front portico and garage for me after I gave him 10k deposit in February of 2018 today is July only started my portico with some shady workers. what a nightmarish experience always making excuses. he disappeared to Ohio which I think is lie. I m working on tracking him down I k ow where he works at least. work not getting done in 2 months only put in 10 hours of work material supply is one by one 2x4 at a time what a s*** show this guy is a true clown
Dennis gave me a run around from the begining when it was time to get paid for a job that I had gone above and beyond to satisfy #1 Dennis because it was the 1st job i did for him and #2 for the customer who was very unhappy with the contractor D&F Builders llc of Hooksett NH. I completed a job that i had even done a lot of extra work so it would come out perfect, I submitted my invoice, the following week he gave me a story that he was waiting for the check to clear to come back next tuesday to recieve a check, After numerous calls and messages I was able to meet up with him when I saw him sitting in a parking lot as I was getting gas. He lied and told me he had not even gone home yet when in fact I called as I was driving by his residence and he was at home. So then he writes me a bad check and texts me in the AM asking me to wait because the checks he deposited haven't cleared. lol same story like I'm suppose to believe a check takes weeks to clear. So besides the point, I waited untill the folowwing Monday I went to his bank and there were no funds available. The bank also told me I would need another check written out because they could not accept this check. So 2 more days go by I have a conversation with him that I needed a new check and I would be depositing it cause I was leaving for vacation, that afternoon. I deposited it and of course it was returned to sender along with a bank fee i recieved, As i was on vacation he ignored my calls and text messages stating i needed him to make it right that my account was in the nagative now that it was returned and my checks for bills had already been submitted. needless to say i got no responce until i ran back into him after vacation was over. Very very un proffestional and should not be in business. I would never work for him again and I advice all subs to stay away unless you don't mind wasting so much time over small money. :( 14:05:12 2015-11-24
