After nine years of working for this company and watching them hold checks, lie to employee's repeatedly, and misrepresent themselves as honest and dependable it's not a big surprise it's happening to me. They refuse to give me my retirement check. They have answers like why don't you get another job? Why are you coming down on us after all we've done for you? It's out of our hands. Our hands are tied. Numerous times I went to bat for my people trying to get them paid what was due to them. Many times I was put in the middle trying to get answers as to where they could get their final pay and just as many trying to do anything I could to expedite a 401k check to the rightfull owner. I knew one day I'd be in the same predicament trying to get my own. I quit 9/20/13. They told people in the community that I was fired. I was denied unemployment.
This April I requested my 401k money in a lump sum dispearsment. I was told i would have to wait for year end being may 31st. OK beginning of July I inquired where's my check? I was told by Jennifer Kuntz 8/15 I could expect a check. Not true. At that time I was told by Professional Benefit Services that they had to evaluate the plan. Ok. Thought we did that already? Can't give me a date but it will be well into September before we get to this little plan said Jeff Brown of PBS. Called late December and he is finished and sending back to Jennifer Kuntz who approves the amounts and had Pen Checks send it out and she states the Check will be cut 10/13. I'm unaware of who Pen Checks is until I discover who they are and what they do myself. At this time Jennifer Kuntz decides she doesn't want anything to do with suggesting I get a job instead and refers me back to Jeff Brown who says he will have his distribution team look into and get me a call back today, 10/13. No call back and subsequent calls to Jeff get me his voice mail and as of yet no return call.
I've experienced both of these people along with CAlvin Kuntz play back and forth and lie and deceive for a number of years to know this little game of power they play with other people's money. They will each have excuses defaming the other party of incompetence and claim ignorance until the employee is exhausted and they are blue in the face. The same way he has been able to survive in the industry miraculously snowing over state and federal DOT and IRS auditors for years. All the while paying his help wages slightly above poverty crying how broke he is while buying ten million dollar summer homes and lying to his top managers about how he splits a whole 15 percent of profit amongst all his people. He may share a pitance of profits in attempts to keep people around but he is lying straight to your face when he claims it's fifteen percent of net profit. The D&D ownership is definitely a professional bunch, a professional and we'll groomed bunch of total schysters loving every minute they have another sucker willing to work themselves to death for peanuts. One of Calvin's favorite belittling quotes to his managers regarding employee pay is "keep em hungry! Then they can't afford to go anywhere else". The best move I ever made in my life was quitting this pathetic outfit.
