CURE Auto Insurance Reviews

Cure is horrible. I was involved in an accident on 12/24/16. I was not at fault even though the accident itself wasn't so easy to explain. I called them numerous times trying to find out how the status of who was at fault was coming...Because clearly I had thought they would fight for me their customer... Not true! They did nothing to argue who was at fault. I am now in the process of trying to argue with them to fix this. They are ridiculous have no customer service. This is not how insurance companies should treat their customers. Oh and to top it all off...I have full coverage and forty days later and I still have not received payment for my vehicle. Thanks for nothing cure...I feel as if I have suffered another accident having to deal with you.

I had been with cure for about a year and half when I was away on vacation to Mexico my ex husband asked if he could borrow my car because his was in the shop and he need to run a few errands. I gave him permission and he ended up getting into an accident that resulted in the car being totaled. While in Mexico I called Cure to explain to then the situation and that I was out of the country and I needed to file the claim. Everything was good until I got back. Cure decided to file charges against me because i gave permission for my ex to use my car and he was not under the insurance. We were not living together and had been separated for a while. He had his own car with his own insurance and I didn't understand why this was all happening. I paid cure every month on time and i had full coverage. I though the full coverage followed the car not the person. They sent an investigator to my home, questioned my neighbors and his. They voided my contract with them so that it would make it seem like I never had insurance through them but refused to return my money that i had paid every month for a year and a half. Then they went on to sue me for the amount of the car since it was a lease and Honda sued them for the money. I am now stuck paying $15,000 or Cure's lawyers are threatening to have it go through court and have it removed from my paycheck.I wish i new Cure's reputation of doing this to everyone before i even decided to go with them. It not worth the savings you are doing a month for everything they put me through! This company is a joke and the fact that people work there means they have no heart. I could never do this to someone.

Two weeks ago I was in an accident. My car car got total lost and two other cars as well. I was paying for full coverage. This was my first accident which I didn't have any experience . This so called insurance company kept calling me and making me feel uncomfortable with many questions which they were asking questions from years back about my ex boyfriend and they were confusing me to trick me to accuse me of fraud. I have desperately looked for help to lawyers and calling them. They treated me as a criminal and voided my insurance policy. They were rude to me telling they don't care that the damages and the others cars were my problems. To do what I want that that wasn't there problem anymore. I have been read and searching for problems with this insurance and there is so many complaints and cases like mine it's incredible. I regret not having found this website before. Stay away from this company they are frauds. When they void your your policy it's like you were not having insurance. And to be honest it's very rare that lawyers wanna help you out. I am also suiting them. These people take advantage of low income people who can't afford lawyers. It's very sad that the state doesn't do anything to help there own people because this is a fraud.

I have been with NJ Cure since 2010 not knowing how this whole insurance thing works. I was told if you pick this policy it would help out with the payments not being so high, non the wiser I did.

Fast forward some years, I have a newer car and had to upgrade the insurance to full coverage being told the same thing, still not so wise to the insurance world I signed to what they told me. I then got into an accident where I was clearly hit from behind.

Here it is two years later and I speak with my attorney today and he states, " I am sure that no one explained this to you when you purchased your insurance", but " You have a policy threshhold that states you will not sue anyone, unless you have broken bones". Needless to say I was shocked and called my insurance company asking them to explain this; I then come across Kathy R. and Maria S., which Kathy thought she placed me on hold, she decided to talk about me to the supervisor Maria and she joined in, instead of helping me along.

I was upset and explained that to Maria of course, she then tried to give me an upgraded insurance, who wants it now, damage is done and I have no idea what to do from here. She tried telling me, "well it saved you money"... Who wants to be in an accident, deal with neck and back pain for the rest of their lives, but say, well atleast I saved some money! I could switch to Geico for that.

Cure is a terrible insurance company! I was in an accident July 2015. The accident was not my fault but still It took them well over 3 months to settle my claim and i had full coverage! After awhile they started to go after me their very own member. They hired a private investigator, who instead of asking me information, asked my neighbors personal information about my family members and i.

They paid my car off after 3 months of trying to find a way to get out of it. At this time i am currently still trying to get in contact with my PIP claims rep after receiving a $3,000 hospital bill because of course Cure is denying coverage of my hospital bills. I do not recommend cure to my worst enemy. They do not want to pay and have very little to no customer service. It's cheap insurance but you get what you pay for.
