I was attracted to an ad that popped up on Facebook offering American wigs by famous brands such as Raquel Welch. Their website offered 100 % guarantee, lifetime warranty, and quick returns. None of this is true. The only thing true about their website was that they use Paypal for payment. I thought I was safe with that and that I was dealing with a legitimate company. But no it is only a "Bait and Switch" company.
The wigs were not anywhere near the style and colors I ordered, nor were they labeled Raquel Welch, nor were they from California. Upon contacting them, they would not give a return address until I sent them pictures of their items! I did and they then offered a slim $15 refund and I keep the wigs or send them back to China at high expense.
So, I complained to Paypal and all they did was eventually give me an address to send them to China and if or when I do, this ripoff company MAY send a refund in a month or so. I can't believe I fell for this scheme. I wish there was somewhere I could sue them for misrepresenting their products and lying about American brands and company. By the way, on my credit card they do list a California zip code and phone and that the merchant is in USA!
