Keith Nelson has a company called CRR7 Corporation where he claims he helps people, who have poor credit & poor rental history, obtain a loan in order to get a roof over their heads. He pretends to do this by asking for a $199 deposit for a background & credit check. Then if the person qualifies, he claims they will receive around $3300 (for a single person) and @ $6000+ (for a married couple) via a "GOVERNMENT BACKED, I.E., STUDENT LOAN to secure a place to live. He also claims that he has a "proprietary" list of landlords he works with offering short term leases to these individuals, and if they pass a background check, all they need to do to receive the loan money is take an online class.
I answered an ad online to work for CRR7 & paid $100 for utilization of his corporate phone system and CRM system, in order to become a sales person/IOSA with his company. I worked for him for a couple of weeks and made some sales. When pay day came around (the 1st of the month-- as stated in his contract pay day is the 1st and the 15th of the month), Mr. Nelson did not pay me or others. He is now not answering his phone. He is the ultimate scam artist and has hurt a lot of people.
It appears that his wife who goes by the name of Valerie Brown is in on this scheme with him. This man started scamming people in Arizona, then moved to Georgia and started scamming people there. STEER CLEAR OF ANY COMPANY ASSOCIATED WITH THE NAME KEITH NELSON OR VALERIE BROWN. He charges folks who need a roof over their heads $199 to get a loan and tells his sales people that they will receive $119 of that $199 fee as commission. BIG LIE! ALL LIES! Mr. Nelson takes the money and runs, never paying his independent contractors for the work they did. Since I worked for him for such a short time, I'm not even sure that the people who come into the program needing a place to live ever receive their money or a roof over their heads. This guy preys on the needy and the weak, and needs to be stopped!!!! The icing on the cake is that he purports to be "a christian man with christian principles"!! He even advertises that on his rental assistance line that applicants listen to: 470-299-7664. He was arrested for theft by deception in Atlanta, GA in 2013. He has tried to pull this type of scam numerous times under various names and company names. He is a scumbag!
