On february 10,2015 i leased a 2004 ford expedition from credit connection in carlisle pa, we put down $1700 for down payment and the payments were $200 every 2weeks full asking price for suv is $11,500 , on march 23rd the suv broke down . i called and left a voicemail stating that the suv was over heating bad and the engine light came on and was flashing. i told them i would take to a local mechanic seeing i live an hour away. i took it to a trusted mechanic who then after looking at it advise me that the engine was no good and he suggested a full engine replacement. the mechanic spoke to credit connection directly and advised them of his findings to which they replied they want their own mechanic to look at the suv. on march 24th the suv was towed to carlisle credit connection and they said they will call to let us know what they find. march 25th we called them to get an update to which they said they were still looking at the suv. march 26th we didnt hear from them , march 27th we called to check the status and they said it was a bad head gasket and they will fix it . we have to pay the $500 deductible according to the lifetime warranty included with the vechile when the repairs are done . did hear from them until march 31st when we called to see if it was done and the guy nate who answered said no we didnt fix it because we decided we want the $500 up front . i told him i didnt think that was fair as the repairs havent been even started and i asked to speak with a manger to which nate replied he left for the day i dont know what to tell you. i never got a manger name. march 31st i called back and told nate fine we really need the suv we have 6 kids and no transportation where we live. ill be in april 3rd when i get paid and give you the $500 and our $200 car payment. on april 3rd we get a ride down to go pay the deductible and car payment and nate said the suv will be fixed april 9th by the close of business. mind you they had the suv on their lot since march 24th. april 9th we called to see if the truck was done seeinf it was almost closing time and nate told us no now it will be done monday april 13th. well april 13th comes and the truck was not done nate called to say the mechanic hurt his hand he cant do it til tuesday april 14 now definitley. april 14th we go pick up the truck and immediatly i see a big crack in my windsheild now mind you that crack was not there when we got the truck and when we went there april 3rd cause i had to get something out of the truck that day. i ask them what happen they said i dont know what happen to the windsheild . i said are you gonna fix it they said no you have to pay to fix it. i left the lot mad in my suv with my broken window and started my hour ride home . we get half way home and the truck doesnt want to drive it starts shaking and the engine light comes on . i right away call them and they state they do not know whats wrong bring it back. so i did. they look at the truck and say its a coil pack and spark plug they fixed it and charged me $116. also i noticed the engine light was still on and when i asked them why they said i can fix the o2 sensor myself that is why the engine light is still on and its minor its ok to drive the suv til i get it installed. i get the o2 sensor put in and the light goes off only to come back on and i find out the fuel sytem in the suv is no good causing the 02 sensor to blow. ever since they repaired the head gasket the truck has not ran . as i type this the truck does not drive over 20mph it sounds horrible and the engine light is on. i can not trust the mechanics or car lot due to the fact they gave me the truck back with the engine light on and i trusted them the first time that it was only a minor issue that needed fixed which they should have done. i have 6 kids to transport in that suv and its not fixed. i put in over $1000 already and made the car payments all along . i just dont have another $1000 or more to fix this suv that has problems since i got it. i feel douped and i always get the i dont know what to tell you answers or get it in here for our mechanics . But how can anyone trust that?

I am a repeat customer of Credit Connection Auto Sales. My last two purchases were the worse. After getting a 2005 Honda accord several months ago, I realized it would need more repairs and inspection due in July. To cut down on this cost I returned that vehicle and got a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT for $700 down. I need basic low cost transportation to get me to work, school, the library and grocery store. While I don't expect luxury for the year, make, or model of this car I DO expect a vehicle that will run reasonably well. I do realize it's an older used car and general maintenance and some repairs are required. I purchased the vehicle on May 25, 2017. I drove it home to Harrisburg and the check engine light came on during the drive home and remained on. On June 6th , two days ago and less than two weeks from the date of purchase the alternator and battery needed replaced at a cost of nearly $500 with labor and parts. I am still required to make my first bi weekly payment on time regardless of the money spent on repairs and keep my car insurance of course. I like Credit Connection because you can get a car quickly without income requirements or a credit check. And bring the vehicle back to trade or turn in without penalty. That was a huge help in my current situation where I am essentially starting over and a car is needed to get a job, go to school or job training etc. What I don't like is that cars are cleaned up and quickly placed on the lot for sale. A basic battery or electrical system check would have revealed the bad alternator and battery. These items could be replaced before sale or at least the consumer could be warned. I recommend Credit Connection if you are credit challenged, need a vehicle quickly without all the hassles of traditional financing. But know and be prepared for additional repairs shortly after purchase. Can't wait to get on my feet again and get a good used car from a reputable dealer.
