Upon trying to move into one of chads units I was approved, then denied bc of having a service dog even though I had provided documentation etc. This is all the same day I’m supposed to move in after flying from California and packing everything I owned into a PODS to have shipped out to Kentucky. Chad basically told me that I couldn’t move into the units because they were dog free units and the other tenants wouldn’t understand which I have in text messages. Upon getting to Kentucky I had to scramble and figure everything out and ended up 2.5 weeks in a hotel until the new apartment manager had called me back on accident.

Upon letting the new manager know that I had already been discriminated against and they had basically ruined what I had planned and payed for due to a lack of communication etc chad eventually called me back the same day, saying he had a 1 bedroom apartment he was completely gutting and would be ready in 3 days etc.

he chose what apartment I had to live in, I had no options. Come to find out he had removed walls and electric and did demo work with no building permit. Half my electric don’t work right, and I have had nothing but hot water since moving in, no cold water. How did I find out, I ended up working for Cash & a few legitimate checks made out to my company. Upon doing work for chad it came to my attention that he had never used a building permit in 15 years and had no desire to start using it and if I didn’t like it I would no longer do work for him and he’d keep my check. I continued working in a unit I have documentation even after recommending not to move a weight bearing wall, electric & plumbing that I had too if I wanted to get paid. I was made start an LLC "Like everyone else” but this was simply a ploy to not pay medical insurance or hold any responsibility to my work.

Well not everyone else had, actually the property manager Jamie Had her disabled father Lewis Black in units with her young minor kids which I have pictures and documentation of flipping units for cash, "tax free”. Jamie had made several sexual advances on me which I have a recording of one instance and happened both occasions in front of other employees and several sexually charged texts. I made it known to chad that I felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation. After I continued dodging the situation with Jamie they began doing everything in their power to force me to quit working making my life a living hell.

In the past week I basically told chad I couldn’t continue doing flips for him unless we were legal and there was some type of accountability for Jamie’s actions. He immediately wanted me to sign and NDA to avoid me speaking to anyone about this which I refused to do. He then told me if I file a sexual harassment claim against her and don’t sign the NDA that I have to be let go because I am a conflict of interest. He is holding money over my head from finished jobs around $1000 as well . He agreed to pay but only if I signed the NDA. Chad & Courtyard Properties Bullying tactics, and penny pinching ways has caused me so much hell in my life and only continues to get worse. I suffer from PTSD already, and this has done nothing but make my symptoms worse. The properties he has had completely flipped and gutted hasn’t had a building perming, or building inspected or brought to code. after demolition jobs etc. that puts everyone living in these units at risk. A majority of the workers he has doing these flips are far from professionals or know what they are doing. Also 830 Alexandria pike has no parking for disabled or anything idintified for disabled parking: which I have documented as well. As I had referred a friend before this blew up to move into one of the apartments he told me he couldn’t let him move in due to fair housing etc, which was confusing because he let one of the drug Addict employees whose a felon rent a unit for $100 a week, when no one else is allowed the same options.

I could add 10-15 more things but I’m running out of space, my opinion approach with caution. If you’re desperate for a unit you’ll more than likely be taken advantage of. I now have an attorney on retainer, and I’ve contacted all my local news channels for investigation. This guy doesn’t care about anyone but himself or realize the affects his negligence has on others.
