Not in any way accusing Cornerstone Christian School for this report - they appear to be the victum and the name on the fraudulent check sent to me for purchase of goods on PinkBike.com (craigslist for cycling community). I knew it was fraud as soon as the texts started talking about sending me a check for the goods, with a "shipping company" taking receipt once the check cleared. They gave lame excuse why they could not just have them bring me cash and assured me that I could wait until the check cleared, etc. But with broken english and poor grammer in teh more recent texts, this appears to be from out of the country perhaps. Anyhow, the check came in priority mail from Chris Jesus University of San Fancisco and they cleary are using Cornerstone Christian School on the checks. This has happened one other time to me with the front of "i am in the military..." clearly they use religion and military to create creditworthyness. Ive been playing along with this simply for fun to at least make they go through some effort and havent decided what I am going to do from here. I won't deposit the check and I have placed a call into Cornerstone to make sure they are aware.
