Went to CORE trans after careful thought and the decision happened to be my worse this company has terrible equipment and promises pay that you will never see the dispatchers constantly give you loads that you must run. illegal to get there on time.I served 12 years in the US Army Airborn Infantry honorably and graduated Ranger school and was a Ssg/E6 at the end of enlistment.started this career in 2005 and have 3 years Over the road and I know what it takes to get the job done.The employees at Core transportation really carry guns when I was picked up at the bus station Anthony the person who handles orientation showed me 2 of them. I can see why they may need them.one day if they continue to lie and verbally abuse drivers and constantly taken your hard earned pay away .Tracey a dispatcher who.also is a liar messed up my DAC and requires companies I apply with to call them.so the can tell more lies this company should be put out of businesses asap I was there for entire week waiting for a driver to get terminated to give me his truck during orientation and they pay for nothing no.meals and no orientation pay and hold your first weeks pay that you will never see Idisputed the accuracy on my DAC report today and hope the recruiters will hire me according to my personality ,good driving record and the facts there are two side of every story .Core trans will cheat you out of everything and don't believe the $1000 guarantee pay they promise unless your a robot you must run illegally to get half of that and the charge you for everything including the stay in the hotel while in orientation and for late delivers up to $600 out including out of route miles including $20.00 for the matress cover this is modern day slavery. Really take head to the comments and STAY AWAY Core trans is the worse carrier I have ever had the privilege to drive for think before you sign the dotted line.
First off, I'm not writing this to run down the company, just tell the truth. Brian's trucks are nasty, coffee stains all over, pet hair, and the smell of sweaty *** **** and *** *****! Then out of the gate, then had me up 22 hrs. Illeagal! They run mostly to the north east but don't tell you till orientation. When you ask for a break and go someplace else, they send you right back. Ashley will change your electronic logs, all you have to do is ask, she changed mine! When I gave my notice they"MADE" me come to the yard to talk it out, and to convince me to stay. Richard and Leslie started out pleasent,but when I told them my mind was made up, out came the attitude! They tried to get me to pull out of service equipment,when I wouldn't the shop foreman wanted me to work on it, when I wouldn't, they set me. When they finally brought me to the yard to turn in my truck and what they issued me, I was met by 4 "bodyguard" drivers, guess Brian was nervous because he wouldn't even look at me when I walked in. They held my check, which is "Illeagal" and when I did receive my lady check, there are fictitious deductions listed that I have receipts to show the the Kentucky labor board, which I have already filled a complaint with. Brian also didn't pay me the guarentee which I'm entitled. His daddy couldn't run Eagle Lines, government made him install e-logs or close his doors,that's public record, look it up. A name change and new boss docent make it a good company. Same game just a different name. Don't waste your time, their CSA score is sky high, they blame the drivers, when they're to blame. Everyone there will jump when the "Czar" Brian speaks, you play his way or your gone! Really? ! Grow up! Worst job I've ever had.
