Paid $97 dollars for domin name also a $167 for other service. I got my service on 9/27/18 cancel on 9/30/18 received $97 dollar refund but not the $167 went on website an called it states pending anit is still pending an today is 11/20/18.
I am still waiting such a ripoff you are unable to speck to a supervisor or manager regarding this issue. Didn’t get refund cancel before 30 days.
Just 8 days before my renewal was due CoolHandle's server suddenly died and with my websites, emails, everything. After 3 days of trying to reach customer support, I was referred to the tier-1 support team. They are really dumb and rude. At first, the support person said that I am not their customer as he couldn't find my records. He disconnected the phone, then emailed instructions on how to apply for an account and the price for 2 years $262.80. It took me a few more days to convince the receptionist who answers the phone to relay a message to a manager about my problem. After about a week a rep from support tier-2 found records showing I have been a customer 4 years. They said I had to first pay for the renewal within 2 days and they would try to fix the problem. After I paid they said they could not find my account on the server because of server problems. I requested a cancellation and refund, via email, and they emailed back, promised to refund, as they are obliged to refund fully within 30 days of the renewal. It's now almost 30 days later, they haven't refunded me yet and they hang up the phone on me when I call. I lost all my hosted sites and now my 2-years paid membership. Conclusion: They are also thieves. It's been hell dealing with CoolHandle and I don't wish such awful experience to anyone. CoolHandle is the worst company to deal with, they disregard their customers after they get their money.
I have been calling CoolHandle about my refund since March 17, 2018 to present. I have only spoken to the support team. I have not spoken to the billing department. No one has a phone number for them. I am very disgusted with Cool Handle.
I was invited via email to listen to a business scheme only to be redirected to a web hosting company. After being promised that there would be no upgrade charges or other hidden fees, and that there would be a one time fee of $14, I entered my card in their system. They charged my account for over $150. Called their customer service and got a message to call back during normal business hours. The site stated plainly that customer service would be available 24/7. I knew something fishy was going on when as soon as I entered my card number in their system it prompted me for an upgrade for a few dollars more. They got me.. Don't let them get you!! They are crooks!
I had Cool handle Account from the time when it was Called Pronethosting.Everything was going fine we never faced any major problem till This August.When my credit card was declined by them, I tried 8 different Credit Cards and everything was not accepted by them.
They suspended my account immediately. I tried to do transaction for more than 60 times but all of them failed. I contacted the Billing Department and reply Came from Mr. Adam R, who told me that Coolhandle is not gonna keep me as a customer, but they will help me in moving my data.
Also, they will activate the panel for 72 hours so, i can move my data myself. After 3 days finally they activated my Panel. When i logged in I was shocked to see that there was no data in it. I immediately revert back with the problem.
Several Days has Passed and I am still waiting for their responce. As they do not respond to mails and Tickets raised through their panels.
This company runs out of Cyris. Apparently this is legal there.
Front page ONLY gives monthly amounts. Honest companies, such as HostGator, state whether it's billed monthly or annually before you buy. Cool Handle does not. Then you are charged for 12 months.
The part about being billed for 12 months with NO refunds is tucked away in their Terms and Condition page.
My credit card company agreed that it is deseptive advertising but they can't successfully dispute the conditions.
