I bought the "Great Choice" warranty from CDWS through AA Auto Warrantee in 2008 and tried to use if twice before when they answered the claims line, both times without success due to "fine print" on what is covered. I tried again yesterday for a water pump which is clearly stated is covered. Claims number not working.
Called AA Auto Warrantee and shuffled off to customer service to James Fortino (888) 222-4445, ext 175 and left a voicemail and email to [email protected] to no avail. No looking at all these complaints and interested in a class action lawsuit. Better yet I might visit their Las Vegas office with my friends Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. Call of email me if anything new is happening Mike ****
I purchased the "GREAT CHOICE" package for my 2004 Yukon Denali in 2010 from Consumer Direct Warranty Services (CDWS) for at lease $1100.00 and they pushed back on at least 2 of my claims and NEVER EVER FIXED my Vehilce NOT ONE TIME. I Tried to get my money back and they would not give me my Money back. If there is ever a settlement awarded please let me know so I can get my $1100.00 back. Thanks.
Around the Spring of 2008 I purchased an extended warranty for my car for $1200.00; upfront, no payment plan. I received the booklet, wallet card, 800 number, email address; everything. Months later I needed an inexpenseive repair for my car but was told it was not covered. At that time they were taking phone calls. Later I found out they were only accepting claims via email and fax. Sometime later the web site was taken down, phone rings forever and email bounces back as "Undeliverable." I am a pretty bright person but on this I feel like I have been royally suckered.
Well like some of us Today I found out I have been Riped off by Consumer Direct Warranty Services as well as Mepco Finance company. I paid $2,400 for this scam and was promised a refund of $1,500 at end of the contract if the insurance was not used for the length of the contract. Well the Company is no longer in busniss so good by to the money I'm glad I did not submit a claim or this would have added to my frustration. Whe I called Mepco they were like oh well. I have been trying to contact the BBB but it's like pulling teeth.
