SO I got the black Friday fever and wanted a new curved TV. I went on the Conns through the Syncrony bank portal and thought I was applying for credit. I was approved for six thousand dollars so the next morning I went to the store.

When I got to the store Iw as told that was not a Syncrony account but Conns in store financing and it was not three years no interest but 12 months same as cash. She told me she could run me through Syncrony bank because that is what all the no interst for three years signs refered too. I said OK. Then they comeback and say Syncrony approved you for 2500. THEN the manager comes back and says I am only allowed to buy two products on either account so the two tvs and Imac (I ll get to that later0 Will have to be split amount the two acounts.

I agree sign a few papers and walk out with a 1300 55" Samsung 4K TV and 49" LG 4K TV for 2200.00 mon the cons account and a $500 black friday laptop and an 1650 21 Imac on the Syncrony card. and two paper printouts which said nothing really. Well I checked the date code on the Mac and it was June 2015, when I got home and opneed the box I found that was an outter box Conns had put over the box the apple box whihc revealed I just been duped into buying a two year old computer. I called Conns immediately and was told I could bring the Imac back for a 15% restocking fee which on 1650 is like 300 bucks.. This was very hard for me to swallow and other retailer were and still are selling the 1650 iMac I bought at Conns for 1100.00 Conns refuses to even match the price on the computer.

So I decide to just eat it.. Never again I say Today I received my retail agreements from Conns 12 days later. #1 they used a fake ss# to run my credit through Syncrony even though they had it from the new conns account and it took all day to fix with Syncrony (I have other Syncrony accounts so they believed me about my social) #2 it wasnt three years 0 interest IT IS 19.99% fixed interest through Syncrony bank. Once again I called Conns even spoke to a supervisor who was beyond rude.. I Finally just realized she was not going to do anything for me and must double as credit and collections. Even better? THEY ADDED $500 worth of diability insurance and other fees not required by the state of South Carolina. I am in awe that a company can operate like this. My next step is contacting the attorney general of SC along with the BBB. WHat else can I do? i can tell you you ll do better at a rent to ownplace then this store. It is not what they to pretend it is. It is for VERY POOR PEOPLE who do not understand credit in the first place. A Savy Customer who pays attention to details and knows exactly what they agreed to and what they signed is not a customer conns wants!

Again the girl, both girls everyone I spoke to at Conns headquarters was beyond rude. It is like they have heard this all before. I bet......

I purchased my appliances at Conns, I was aporoved for one year without interest. The vendor told me that if I kept good record in my payments, they will be able to extend the time to pay without interest. Before 09/30/2015 I received a letter from them telling me that if I don't pay the full balance by Sep 30, 2015, they will charge me almost $3,000.00 of interest plus late fees, they said never told me about to extend the time so first lie. We paid in full the account before the deadline, today Oct 6, 2015 I was checking my bank, they charged me another payment of $320.00, this created a big mix in my bank account, my bills were returned, the bank charged me fees for almost $350.00. I called them at 7:00 pm today, the lady that attended me (Lydia) said me that it was a mistake of them, she apologize for the inconvenience, that they will return my money in 10 to 14 days. I requested to be paid for the fees that the bank charged me, she said that she will report this, that I needed to call next Friday to know the response to my request. It is not the first time that happens me this, when I started to make my payments they charged me double payment in one month creating me a big problem in my bank, they returned the money for me a month after. They asked me to send copies of my bank statements to pay me the fees charged due this mistake, I sent these twice, they never paid me, when I called them asking they asked me to resend the copies but never paid me. The appliances are not a good quality. My questions is if it fair, what they are doing? They are very polite when you are in the store willing to buy but after they forget the good customer service and worst they ignore the customer's complaints. I will file a report at the office of the Attorney General in Santa Fe, NM to report them. I wanted to write here because I don't want that more persons happens for this situation, I am a person that works too hard, I cannot give my money, I have many medical bills, I am sick, I need my money.
