We had 3 rooms at this location for 4 days we had 8 people and a service dog everyday the maids came and cleaned the rooms and on the 4th day i received a call from Terri a clerk and she said all 3 rooms had been smoked in and a foot throw had been stolen from the room i told her that we had called the front desk and told them one of the rooms was missing a foot throw and it was not on the bed when we checked in She called me a lying b***h and hung up on me. She then called me back multiple times hanging up on me thru out the day trust me this creature was a real piece of work on the phone but lets start with our first encounter with this thing called the morning clerk.
My 6 drivers went to get coffee and a breakfast bag when they got to the front desk she was sitting down and was pissed that she had to get up She then demanded to know what room they were in they told her and she said i'm not feeding all you people you have to many people in one room , now when we checked in they knew how many people was in each room she told them to get out and thats when i had to get involved she finally got up and gave them breakfast but refused to give them the full breakfast did i Mention my drivera were black.
The white drivers got a total diffrent treatment than the Black ones did and after dealing with that Thing they call a desk clerk i knew She was a Racist, later that day Terri called and said all Rooms had been smoked in and she was charging me $300,00 per room cleaning fee did i mention None of my drivers Smoke, and charging me $200,00 for the foot throw that was missing i tried exsplaing to her that one room had ciggarette butts on top of th AC unit when we checked in but none of that mattered to her because she was to busy cussing me out and screaming about my black drivers. This Hotel is a nasty dump and Terri was a true POS to us during our last day Terri informed me that she was having us banned fron Comfort Suites and we thank her for that cause i still have not quit itching since i left that dump, I called the corporate office about what happened and Mia was no help I also talk to Erica the General Manager and all they wanted was money from me.
Trust me Comfort Suites is a Scam and will try to charge your card when you leave there, this hotel in LUBBOCK Needs a good cleaning and the Corporate Office needs to take the Trash out of that Location Seriously i had to take my dog and have her groomed after staying there because she was itching so bad, if you are black or have a dog i recommend sleeping in your car if this is the only hotel avaliable because they will rape you on the money if Terri has anything to do with it, This Hotel was Nasty Dirty And unkept the bed covers were stained and nasty the carpet was Filthy and the bathroom made you scared to shower and im sure we left there with some unknown itch after all this i had to cancel my card because i feared what Terri was going to add to it, this Dump was a total nightmare beware of doing bussiness with them .
I stayed in room with my boyfriend for two days we was charged a 250 smoking fee and we didn’t smoke inside of the hotel I don’t smoke but he does his clothing smells like smoke at times he also puts his ashes n butts in a bag when smoking outside to avoid throwing on the ground so upon leaving the hotel I threw what he had in his bag in the trash n took it n dumped in hallway not wanting anyone to assume we smoked in the room.
42 mins after checking out I get a call getting accused of smoking claiming they found ashes in the garbage which was a lie cause I cleaned what he brought in up they also claimed the room smelled like smoke which is another lie cause I keep febreeze to spray his clothes when they smell bad I personally hate the smell.
the hotel also charged me 45 extra dollars claiming we damaged a towel n a face towel I wipe off the counter with the towel from spilled coffee not thinking I would be charged for a item that’s washed after guest.
I’ve googled this same issue n comfort suites have done this to numerous people. if there is no physical evidence such as burned furniture carpet n smell up n down the hallway they are ripping people off. they stated they had pictures of ashes n my trash but never emailed to me I will be disputing this but I just had to let others know if you smoke outside enter your room naked to avoid bs n your money being played with !!!
