Colorado Cheer Academy Allstars Reviews

1. March 1, 2014, paid $50.00 for tryouts. (At a later time we were notified by others that if we were invited the fee was dropped and it wasn’t for us). 2. 1st day of practice we paid for $450.00 uniform fee and 1st month’s tuition of $139.00 totaling $539.00. Practice was to be held Tuesday, Fridays & Sunday Tumbling. 3. April 3rd paid tuition of $139.00, plus $60.00 for practice gear and mothers shirt 4. May 2nd paid tuition of $139.00; no practice on 16th, 24th, and then notice went out on Facebook same day the 24th saying, “Gym is closed until we are in new building”. Practiced only 6 days. 5. Butter Braids fundraiser – my daughter participated in this fundraiser and $90.00 was to be applied for her sales & SOLD 2 Sky Sox tickets. 6. June 2, notice went out stating, “TUITION AND UNIFORM PAYMENT IS DUE” we only had 1 practice in the month of June and payment was still requested. (we paid $139.00) with hardly no contact at all from any of the coaches. 7. June 30th we met at the park for what we thought was supposed to be a practice at 6:00, coaches showed up at 6:35 and Amanda apologized for “shutting down and not keeping in contact with us parents”. At this time we planned a practice for July 1st 6pm-8pm, which was canceled due to storm. 8. Another practice was scheduled for Friday, July 3rd – Amanda canceled practice through the app “Groupme” saying that she was really busy but we will be sure meeting Tuesday, July 7th at which time she stated that she wanted all parents there for a meeting. After parents starting complaining about not practicing Amanda finally agreed to make it for practice. 9. July 7th – Amanda sent notice on Groupme, Practice canceled. At that time another date and time was scheduled for Friday July 10th and Sunday July 12th if it works for everyone. 10. July 9th Amanda stated on Groupme that she sent out an e-mail, I never received until another parent forwarded it to me. This would be the last time anyone will hear from Amanda. 11. July 10th practice day 6-8, we showed up at 6:00 and 5 other girls were also there however no coaches and no communication from them until 6:30 and we hear from Alyssa, which is Amanda’s sister who notified us on Groupme that CCAA is no longer hosting practices…also mentioned there was an e-mail sent out stating all refunds are in the works and will be taken care of as soon as possible. Then she tried to tell us parents of other cheer places to take our athletes too. Then a week goes by and its silence 12. July 17th myself and another parent took our story to Channel 5 News for an investigation report on the 10:00 news, in hopes the owners of CCAA see it an hear us out and realize that we are not letting them get away with this, that we are due our refunds for services not rendered. I have e-mails and proof of all the above information, from facebook posts, text and e-mails, etc...
