So sad that all this happened. my move was 12 miles should have been easy. but when these guys turned over my solid wood kitchen table to disassemble they did not put anything down to protect it and scratched right into the wood. I got an estimate to repair and took pics. sent it off to the local manager, Rob Brockenberry. What happened next was nothing more than spinning a web of lies from the movers. I asked to come to the office to directly confront these guys (not college students by the way) and was denied. Management made a lot of excuses and then sent me a check for one third of the price of the repair. Oh and did i mention the missing box that vanished into thin air.
when i called the home office to escalate the case, i was given an case number and had to call 3 or 4 times and what did they do, nothing, had the original area manager call me and tell me nothing else can be done.\
Not happy, new table marred through no fault of my own and I am stuck paying most of the damages.
I guess this proves the old adage true, you get what you pay for
