I purchased a $5.00 Valere Skin sample on the internet with a pre-paid gift card. Now I am getting a bill from Collect Pros saying that I owe $98.71 to Valere Skin. I wrote a letter to Collect Pros disputing this charge, they responded with a second notice to collect this debt, I can not talk to a person at Collect Pros ,so I called Valere Skin and they said that they have no record of me and told me to call Collect Pros .I told them I can not get ahold of them and Valere Skin told me that they can not help me because there is no record of me. I should not have to pay $98.71 for a $5.00 sample and I do not know what else to do. I think this is a scam and I do not want it to go on my credit report. I will not order anything else I thought it would be safe with a pre-paid gift card . I am just learning how to use the computer and did not know if the oder went through because the computer froze and turned off and I could find the page I was on and for got about it cause it was only $5,00 so now they want me to pay $98.71 for a $5.00 sample that I never recieved and they do not have record of .. Please help me on what I am supposed to do .

I received a letter from Collect Pros on February 25, 2016, that stated "This is an attempt to collect a debt". The reference number is 1011217. It indicated that an overdue balance of $58.45 was due for a product called "VFSkin Mask". I have never heard of VFSkin Mask, and I certainly did not order it.

The letter states "Unless you notify us within thirty (30) days after your receipt of this letter that the validity of this debt, or any portion of it, is displuted, we will assume that the debt is valid."

This is an invalid debt as I never placed an order for a product I've never heard of. It is a waste of my valuable time to have to dispute something that did not take place, and to fight a collection agency that does not provide a human to answer the phone. I called the phone number (877-439-1825) shown in the letter to speak to someone, and it only allows you to pay them via automated system or by the website. The letter also states that their website is www.collectpros.com, but guess what! You can only pay them, and there is no option to contact them.

The letter states they will report the debt and file a judgement. What can be done? I am sending a letter of dispute to the address shown which requires their signature showing it was delivered. I suspect there will be no one to sign, especially since they only list a PO Box. What does a person do as it does not seem the collection agencies are regulated and they report whatever they want whether a debt is valid or not?

Several months ago, my wife, who has alsheimer's disease, ordered what she thought was a free trial of a skin care product from a supplier named revitol. This subsequently turned out to be a scam, where they automatically immediately begin sending you more of the product and charging outrageous amiounts against your credit card. We contacted the bank of america fraud unit, who refunded us the money for this obvious scam. We also cancelled the card.

Then, just recently we received a notice from collect pros, llc, demanding that we pay them $84.9 dollars owed to revitol. Thats right 84.9, no cents?) a little online research revealed that collect pros has no corporate or credit history themselves They are ghosts), and the company address they give is for a bay in a warehouse building with no sign out front.

I ordered the Garcinia Health MAX at $4.95. Was shipped the Garcinia Health MAX along with a bottle of Cleanse Blast, not ordered. Credit card was charged $9.9, meaning $9.90 and of course contacting them provided no response to date. Then come the two pink letters from Collect Pros "THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT", explaining as a courtesy, that I must have overlooked payments of $89.95 for the Garcinia Health MAX and $79.95 for the Cleanse Blast respectively. Real LOUSY

I received a notice of collection from Collect Pros yesterday. They said I was past due on a debt for a product which I never ordered nor did I receive that product. The letter gave easy to make . WWW.collectpros.com or an 877 phone number.

They want written notice of dispute within 30 days I will contact my District Attorney, The state AG and Consumer agencies, Better Business Bureau and see if the Pacoima police department has looked at them for fraud. I'm going to check with the post office to see if what they are doing is mail fraud.

My understanding is Garcinia Lean Xtreme reported to Collect Pros that I bought weight loss supplements from them totalling $84.71. I have used (1) bottle of Garcinia that the company gave to me to try & I would pay S&H. That is the extent of our relationship.

Received collection notice,August, 2015, dated 05/20/2015, from Collection Pros for payment of $274.05 for subscription to Entertainment Weekly Magazine. I did not subscribe to this nor have I ever received any of the magazines.

I attempted to call Collect Pros and got nowhere. When I requested to know where this facility was, I was told they could not give out that informatin, so I told CSR Nicole that I wanted to speak to her Supervisor, she quickly disconnected the call.

Then I went on line as instructed, but was unsuccessfull in filing a dispute.

Please advise as to the next step I should take to resolve this matter.
