I received a letter in the mail when I ran into financial difficulty and my home went into foreclosure. The letter stated that I may qualify for legal assistance to save my home. After a lengthy conversation with the representative I talked to I was told that I qualified . They are very convincing and assured me that they could force my lender to negotiate and have my payment lowered. I borrowed money to pay the firm..in two payment phases of $1950 each. At first they seemed very motivated to help me. They sent me a list of documents to send, which I did. Then I was given a new person...more documents. I was then sent to the Resolution Dept. I was given more documents to send, some in which I had already sent. I then was requested to send the whole package again through the mail. It became increasingly difficult to receive a response by phone or e-mail. The week before my home sale date I finally received an e-mail stating that my file was incomplete and some documents were not valid. I was told the Defense Team would contact me the next day. I tried for three days to get a response and requested a phone number twice, but received no response. At 6:00 pm the night before my sale date I received a call and was told I would have to file bankruptcy by 7:30 am the next day..which would cost an additional $310. This was impossible for me because I had already given them all my money. I received a huge run around from this firm, feel they did nothing to help me, and left me with no funds to move, which will leave me homeless.
