After being scammed by one of these "we want to buy your timeshare companies", I continue to get calls from others who want to buy my time share. They must have my phone number on a list.
This company Coldwell Associates is a fake. They are not located at the location they claim. I have talked with the property manager of the building and they do not have a suite on the foulth floor or any where in the building.
They only want to do business via email, claiming to be a "green company".
They will not use the postal service.
I pressed them to give me the name of the escrow company they use in the US, not Mexico which they prefer.
When I called the main headquarters of the nation wide company that they said they used, the location and phone numbers did not match.
The way these scams work is they offer you more than your time share is worth and then ask you to pay a bunch of fees up front. People forget that you do NOT own the property, only the right to use it. Therefore you have no property to sell.
If you want to transfer your right to use a property, this can be done through your timeshare company for a small fee.
Anyway, this company, Coldwell Associates is a fake and the guys are most likely in another country.
