Code Blue Litter Nanny service of codebluebulldogs.com was hired to do litter care services for my English Bulldog litter. Jenee and Frank Beckwith are the owners of this company and indicate they have 15 years experience and specialize in the Bulldog breed. Both English and French.
2.5 days after caring for my litter 3 of my 5 puppies died because of their neglect. I had been in constant contact with the wife asking her how mom and puppies were doing and she kept telling me great. Each phone call which I made 3-4 times per day as I had never used her and with being expensive dogs I wanted to make sure they were being cared for correctly. I know the 1st week is the most crucial in their life. Eventually she said that the smaller ones weren't suckling from mom to well and I told her to start supplementing the pups by tube feeding or sponge feeding, her response was well I want them to feed from mom as much as they can because of the colostrum (keep in mind prior to me hiring her she told me she automatically gives colostrum gel to the pups just in case they aren't getting enough from mom as well as plasma which she said makes them more agressive feeders)( Red flag 1) I again asked her to start sponge feeding them. I called her later after they should have fed and asked her if she had sponge fed them and she said she had and that they did ok, I asked her if she had given them the colostrum gel and she said no I ran out I have to order some which I usually get my orders in 2 days after I order and I said did you run out after they got there and she said no before (red flag 2) I had told her since the puppies were born she needed to feed them every 1.5hrs for the first week. She said she does every 2 hrs. I told her with tiny puppies like this they needed to be every 1.5 hrs especially now that she was sponge feeding and told her if they weren't feeding well from the sponge she needed to tube feed, which she said she was very good at doing, but yet these pups needed it and she wasn't doing it.
To make a long story short she took the puppies to the Vet 1 hour after telling me they were doing great. She would not call me about my puppies, give me any updates until 2 hrs later asking me if I was going to pay the vet bill and if I was going to want xrays which I told her wasn't nessasary because the puppies were malnourished, she then stopped contact until later around 3 pm (3 hrs after going to the vet) saying the Vet gave them sub q (which is fluid under the skin) and sugessted agressive tube feeding and asked me to call in and pay the vet bill. I called her while at the vet and she wouldn't answer, I texted her, she wouldn't respond, I texted her and asked her earlier if she had brought a supplement to feed them and said if not to get some from the vet, no reply but then after 3pm she text me and says can you hurry and pay the bill as I have to rush to pick my son up from school and take these puppies home and feed them. Keep in mind these puppies are supposed to eat every 1.5hrs and here she fed them at 11:30am went to the Vet at 12:30pm and then left the vet after 3pm had to drive 20 miles, pick up her son and then back home so the puppies couldn't have possibly been fed until 4pm. What Jenee failed to tell me was that upon bringing the puppies in to the vet that the vet said the puppies were malnourished, dehydrated and had hypothermia. Then to top that off she starved them to death. She advertises she has 15 years experience and specializes in this breed but was what having a 2-3day brain fart on missing all the key elements to life of these little pups? To make matters worse than they already were she couldn't even call me to tell me the puppies had died, she had her husband call me and let me know alot has went on and all 3 puppies died and he wanted to know how long before I was going to be there. I forgot to mention earlier that I was going to be heading her direction at 1pm, but was told by her husband that I just needed to wait for her to call me as no-one woukd be home. I waited until 3pm and texted her and told her I was on my way that I couldn't wait on her anymore. Surprisingly no response and when I got there who made sure they were no-where around? You guessed it Jenee. I had to deal with Frank who tried to bash me and was mad because I had no sympathy for his wife. To top it all off he was mad that I asked for the litter care fee to be refunded minus 2.5 days of service if prorated I owed her $125. He wanted me to pay her $350 for her lost sleep doing her job getting up to feed them and gas for running them to the vet. I couldn't believe it you just killed 3 of my puppies ($12,000-$15,000 ) and think I should pay you 2 weeks in wages for 2.5 days of care? I told him I would pay 3 days, not good enough he wanted 2 weeks and wanted me to sign a contract saying they were relinquishing services because the mother of the pups was now agressive. UNBELEIVABLE!!!
These guys are so delusional and have no business being in business or saying they specialize in anything!! 15 years experience in what, how to not properly take care of someone else's property? The none notification is what really got me and then to have a business, but not be present and coward and have your husband clean up your mess? No appologies for my loss, nothing. Very upset over this. And they just go on and promote their business as if nothing ever happened.

They babysat my dog but had poor communication with me. They now live in Las Vegas NV. Beware do not use their service.
