I met Mr. Coburn in February 2018, but it wasn't until a year later that I signed up and spend over a $1,000 for his credit repair services. I spend 4 months (February-June) waiting for him to repair my credit. He did absolutely nothing for me and my husband credit. Collections were off from report for fews weeks and then added again as new on my credit file. If my score improve 20 points, was because I was paying off my debts. He recommended me to spend another $1,000 to pay off debt collections instead of removing himself. He was barely ever available, and everytime you got a hold of him, he will tell you this story to satisfy your concerns a drive you to a different route. In July 2019, I decided to change credit conpany and I emailed Chris since he never picks up the phone. He didn't even replied hinself to my email, or call or even at least refunded some of our money for not doing his job. He was the worst professional I have deal with. Please don't make business with him. I beg you!!
On 7/6/18 I paid Mr Chris Coburn to help fix my credit. He started doing well. In the midst of the process, I was pregnant and fell ill for most of my pregnancy, everything was paused. Mr Coburn had asked me for some papers I’ve received from some companies.
I mentioned to him that I was ill, but he told me to search for them anyway. And if I’m not able to find them, to not worry because he will be able to get them. In March 2019, I started recovering and I searched for the papers and I physically dropped them off to his office. On March 26, He told me that he received the papers and "have already started working again on my file”.
Where do we start?! My wife and I entered a contract with Chris for help on purchasing our new home. Long story short, I was able to barely got approved, and didn't so well with my wife's account so we moved with the loan with just me on it. Although we are still thankful we closed on my house, we feel that Chris Coburn didnt provide services for my wife. However, he did suggest to "sue" the creditors -- with ZERO guidance from him on how to do so? Besides, can he sue being he's only a credit repair company? We closed on our house, and now my wife is being sued by these creditors the one he suggested to sue but didnt do anything about it.
A year later, my clueless self reached out to him because of a collection showed up on my report when i was trying to refinance my house. Enterd a contract with him Sept 18,2019 and said it was a 90 day plan. It is now Jan 14th and still nothing is going on, he keeps telling me that "you should be receiving something in the mail" the last 2 months and NOTHING -- there's no proof that the disputes were sent. I got to the end of my rope and asked to cancel everything and demanded a full refund due to him not being able to fulfill his services. We are now getting "AUTO" replies.
Stay AWAY! they were on top of it at first (kind of) but they've completely dropped the ball this time around.
