Randy Hall , owner of Coastline Pools has not refunded our money of $1487.54.
Below is a text from Mr. Hall:
"Mr. Avalos,
I am meeting with the guys to get a refund on Monday. I will be able to drop off the money to you personally or leave it at your property at that time.
The payment will be in the form of a cashiers check/money order... "
He is not returning any of our calls nor text messages. No services /parts were purchased for a job that he quoted us on.
After getting a second opinion, the total cost of the job ended up being $176.50. Mr. Hall indicated that our pump motor over heated and many internal parts were melted and needed replacing, indicated that his electrician was cheap and needed $650 to rewire the pump and $350 for a complete line blowout.
This was before Mr. Hall tested any of the pool equipment. I was out of town and that weekend we had a scheduled birthday party for all three of my September birthday boys and I told him I was at his mercy to fix everything before Sunday. We felt he was taking advantage of the situation after his enormous quote and diagnosis of the problems. I made some calls in the inner circle and found out that many of his recommendations were grossly inflated. He left us high and dry that weekend and I had to call in the real experts and all parties from Mr. Joe Dugas (pool electrician) to blue science pools came in and saved the weekend. They all indicated that there was nothing wrong with the pump and there was only an exposed wire that looked as if sheath were stripped, no melting occurred nor was there anything wrong with the internal pump parts as Mr. hall indicated.
