We contracted with this company and paid a deposit of $2,600.00 and let then remove all of our kitchen cabinet doors for refinishing in their shop. They were supposed to return the painted doors and paint our base cabinets No show and no call. When I contacted them they gave me excuses and said they would reschedule.
They never called or returned my calls. We continued to call and finally reached a woman by the name of Rachel. I asked to speak to the owner Kristi Thompson, and Rachel replied she was in a meeting with Kristi and they were reviewing their schedule, and she would call us back to give us the date they would come to paint our kitchen cabinet bases.
However, Rachel did not call back. After multiple calls and text messages to the owner(Kristi Thompson) she did reply stating that our cabinet doors were in production. I asked her to send me a picture and she assured me that she would. However, she did not!
Once again called the office and Rachel then informed me, that our doors were NOT in production and that Kristi Thompson/Coastal Cottage had gone out of business. I then asked for my doors and deposit to be returned and stated I would be there on 12/3 which she agreed to. On 12/3 drove to their shop and picked up my doors and drawer.
I asked to speak to Kristi Thompson the owner and was told by her employee that she was out on the road selling and making house calls.I have tried numerous timesto get ahold of the owner for my refund with no success. Along the way I also checked their BBB report to find a pattern of compaints, and they have since suspended their accreditation. Kristi Thompson is still holding on to my $2,600.00 deposit

They were supposed to return the painted doors and paint our base cabinets when we returned for the Fall season in Naples, Fl. I verified with the office staff a return date of October 9th , 2019 both in August and September and verified the in home service date of October 14 2019. On oct 14 they did not show or call and it took me until Oct 15 to get in touch as their phone went to VM. When we connected 10/15 they rescheduled for 10/24. Again- no show and no call. When I contacted them they gave me excuses and said they would reschedule. They never called or returned my calls. On 11/14/2019 I sent them a priority letter with signature required which they received 11/15 per the USPS tracking system. No response to this. I cpontinued to call withourt results, asking to speak to owner who never called. After multiple attempts I managed to get the owner(Kristi Thompson) on the phone11/25/19. She apologized and said they would come out 11/29 and begin work. on 11/29 .Again no show and no call. I finally got ahold of the office staff- Rachel - on 10/29 who told me we were not on the schedule, had never been on the schedule, they might get to the job by late January at the earliest if we would wait and that the owner was retiring. Ithen asked for my doors and deposit to be returned and stated I would be there at 10 Am Mon 12/2 which she agreed to. On 12/2 drove 2 hours to get to theweir office to find it cloased and dark with no answer. Made repeated calls with no reponse. I had located their warehouse address through a complaint I saw on Facebook and drove there. The painters were working and assisted in returning mydoors to me. I tried to get ahold of the owner for my refund with no success and finally spoke to Rachel who said she could not help.
