We spent over $3,000 to purchase 4-person tent at Coachella’s Lake Eldorado. We expected something a bit more upscale than just a digusting dusty tent and only one "dedicated " shower facility with hour-long lines and noisy golf carts driving between the tents all night long constantly waking is up (they said it was for "our security”, which I get, but why can’t security guards just quetly walk?) .We had to move to a hotel (overpaying increased rates because it was last minute booking), but the story doesn’t end here and the most terrible aspect was parking and the way their parking employees treated us. After we left, we COULD NOT get our car back from their dedicated parking lot, because of what they call "parking lockdown ", which prevents anyone from leaving the lot between 10pm and 2am. So we had to walk almost 30 mins to get an Uber, then next day take another Uber to get back to the lot and finally get out of this $3,000 hell. You think the story is over? No, read on. The parking employee said he can’t let us in, because, quoting "you are not a car”! You can’t walk into a lot just to get your car out unless you drive there by car. Stupid. The parking employee went aggressive and then tried to push my girlfriend out! OMG!!! So we had to spend another 2(TWO!) hours Ubering into the general entrance across the whole site and then another 40 minutes to walk back to the Lake Eldorado site. Embarrassed, we just drove out and never came back. It was the worst musical festival experience ever. NEVER EVER go there.
