Stay away from coaches corner sports auction!!! I won a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 baseball card for a total of $6400. They stated in large print it was %100 authentic, sent it in to PSA and it came back NOT authentic. This place is a scam that has fake and fraudulent items. Beware, this place needs to be shut down.
It took me quite awhile for me to believe that I was allowing Coach's Corner to continue to rip me off. After auctions where I knew I was receiving "unopened" card packs that were previously opened, or "vintage strip cards" that were really Xerox Copies, I finally stopped bidding.
During the last auction that I placed bids was going on, I noticed an item that could not possibly be authentic. It was a lobby card of an Abbott&Costello Compilation Film, that was released in 1965. It was described as containing a real autograph of comic,Lou Costello. I immediately knew this"autograph" just had to be FAKE. Because Lou Costello DIED in 1959 ! I emailed Coach's Corner to notify them of this, thinking that they would immediately Pull this item from the auction. Bids had already been placed on this item,so I assumed that they would notify the bidders of this "error". They Never pulled the item and some poor sucker was stuck with an autographed Lou Costello Lobby Card that was signed SIX years after Costello Died . Needless to say,I will Never bid on any Coachs Corner item Again !!!
