April 2016 I went through a drive through at a local fast food restaurant. I began eating the fries from the bag as I drove to pick my up from school. As I was stopped at the stoplight, I went to retrieve more fries when I noticed what looked to be a bloody fingerprint in the empty carton of fries I had just consumed. I immediately pulled off to the side of the road and called the restaurant and told them they had contaminated containers, asked to find out who had a cut and to call me back immediately. I received no call back. I then called a nurse from my local VA hospital and was instructed to go in immediately for a " baseline" blood test which I did...The restaurant never called me back..I had to file two complaints through their website..after 3 days I finally received a call from a manager. He told me he spoke with the owner And to continue any blood work and appointment s,. I then received a call from aCNA they took a statement and I told them I would have to continue blood draw for hepatitis or other blood born pathegons. I received a letter in the mail today stating they investigated, and found no employee with a cut..that was their investigation and denied liability. I must continue with my blood draw every few months as a result of this contaminated container. So my question is how they can conduct an investigation when the containers had been pulled off the shelf days later, and if there was any other contaminated containers consumers may have not noticed. I am completely baffled at the response I received.
