We purchased a Clubstore Outlet franchise from Tapp Palmer and it has been a nightmare. The supply chain he promised did not exist. There is zero support. Several franchisees have already left him and the franchise and rebranded as independent stores. There is currenly a lawsuit pending against him and Clubstore Outlet in South Carolina. Call the stores listed on the website and also search for past stores on the internet that are longer listed on the corporate website. Talk to the owners and see what they have to say about their experiences.

Tapp Palmer, Costless Overstocks, Clubstore Outlet, among others names, it's a scam saying he is a Franchise or like a Franchise, but does not deliver as promised on agreed on documents. Seems that he has become a Franchise but probably will not last long because now he is has more exposure and compliances.

He is a one man operation, without the capacity and capability to perform as expected. There is no supply chain process established, which is the core or the business.

There is no follow up or support once you write him your check, and says he has great relationships with Big Box retailers, but in reality there is just a vague relationship. They dont even like him, because he doesnt pay them well.

Tapp Palmer gives a great sales pitch, but after you pay him, he is vanished...

There are much better options to invest in, or that are structured differently without his scary fees that go directly to his pockets without investing in what you are paying for.

Please do your homework, and do your due diligence.

He has multiple law suits in SC.

Watch out for Tapp Palmer, he is the CEO from Clubstore Outlet. He will tell you he has a great supply chain this is a lie, he has no supply chain. He will tell you he has experience running and training people to do their own stores, he is lying again, he doesn't have his own store.

Ask him why he doesn't have a single store under Clubstore Outlet making money even after 3 years, becuase this is not a Franchise. He is a con man.

Tapp Palmer the CEO of Clubstore Outlet Corporate is a fraudulent Con Man who lives the life of a ghost. He dosn't own a house, dosn't own a car, hasn't filed a tax return in 8 or 9 years and lives off of hard working peoples franchise fees and territory fees they have paid him.The whole Clubstore Outlet Corporate is nothing but a ponzi scheme, no infrastructure or support what so ever for the franchisees. For our full story please friend me on facebook. Bruce Schooley - Neenah Wisconsin. Please share our story everywhere you can so this guy is brought to justice. Thank you, Bruce Schooley

This guy is a con man and should be locked up!

This guy (Tapp Palmer) is a crook and is at it again and launched his website again www.clubstoreoutlet.com

It says he has 20 stores in 10 states. This is not true he has 8 stores of which 4 of them will close in 2018. If he was so proud and supportive of his franchises why are they not listed on his website anymore, because he doesn't want you talking to any of them. The reason being he has screwed each and every one of them out of their life savings. This is a Ponzi scheme and he should be in jail! Also, why was "Franserve" one of the countries largest franchise consulting companies supporting him and selling these as franchises, because they were getting some of the largest commissions in the country on the franchise sale!

A year ago we started a new journey to own our own business and the best part help others start they’re journey to business ownership. Since the excitement of starting this around July of 2016 has turned from joyous to frustration, to angry, to tears. If this post will prevent one person from having to go through the emotional rollercoaster and financial devastation then it will be worth it. We bought into a franchise known as Clubstore Outlet in July 2016 as not only a store franchise, but also purchased the area developer (or master franchisor) for a territory. At first CEO and Founder Tapp Palmer was all too happy to converse. But, the further along we got into trying to develop the area the more problems existed, from Franchise Brokers no longer offering this franchise because of lack of communication (and so much more) to previous stores closings or going on their own due to lack of a supply chain as Tapp Palmer said he had in place. In February, we asked Tapp Palmer to call us as we wanted to discuss not only moving forward with our store, but discuss major issues and feedback we were getting regarding Clubstore Outlet. Even at this time we felt it was a newer franchise working out the bugs. We still have not heard from Tapp Palmer who has scheduled calls, but not one of the multitudes scheduled has he kept. One reason or another all have been cancelled. I have emailed, called, texted, to no avail. I have emailed and formally requested my store franchise fee be returned since they failed to uphold the franchisor agreement, of course no response. We have been financially devastated. Others are also in the same position, not all will be as financially devastated and they have years to recover. We are not so lucky. I have started the process in filing complaints and reports on a Federal, State and Local level.
