I made the business destroying mistake of choosing Click 2 It (aka Click2It) as a Web Design and marketing company. First of all they charged me over $10,000 for a poorly designed website that barely works. An old colleague of mine took one look and told me it would cost too much to fix and that the best solution was to scrap it and start again. On top of that I paid for a year of SEO - my site ranked on page two when they started. A year of their work and I was on page six despite thousands of dollars. I later found out about a Google penalty for spam links which they hid from me despite promising me their links were "110% organic" On drawing all this to their attention and threatening legal proceedings to get my money back they said they would "make it their mission to anonymously destroy my business" if I proceeded against them. They also said they would lock me out of my own website and not release it until I paid another 1000 dollars "release fee" To cut a long story short I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars and am in a worse position than when I started. I don't know how companies like this stay in existence. Do not make the same mistake.
