I ordered Clear TV Key and when I read more about it I tried to cancel the order before they shipped it and heard nothing from them. They shipped it any way.
I didn't work as they said so I contacted them and they sent an email back with some ridiculous instructions. I sent and email back and waiting on a response. I advice everyone never to buy such a junk item.
Purchased and rec'd 2 Clear TV antennas 3/2015, paid extra shipping on a 2 for 1, and worked OK, for a bit, move to a higher elevation, same area, great!, move again, to a lower area, hard by the City, And - NO WAY Jose _ constantly have to reprogam channels, clouds, wind, rain, snow, no matter - TV signals and broadcasys are Microwave, Aren't they? - Stations say NO MATTER, goes thru bldgs, and all - so I get and don't get, depends, some NBC, ABC, CBS, one of two, varies, PBS, but Boy! do the religious gimmee, gimmee come thru, guess the BUY airwave time.
SO why do I have to repeatedly and within hour have to auto or plug and play select channels? I do and I'm sick of it - watched the NEW clear TV KEY! how can ir be any better or even as good as this? TOTAL ripoff and NO REFUND, but "you could buy an AMPLIGIER", for what?
I cannot begin to describe how to satisfy the I am with this product. It is absolute garbage. It would have been a Time Saver if I would have just thrown $40 any red hole or burnt up $40 with a lighter! I cannot believe there's not some class action lawsuit against this company!
Purchased a free tv key off the commercial on television. It came in the mail. When it was set up on the tv properly it would not work. I called them a few days later, but they refused my refund. They stayed it had been too long, but they would send me another one. I had a technical person to set it up, but it would not work.
I was advised by my sister that the "Clear TV Key" antenna product did not work. The antennaweb.org web site promises 65 channels but only delivers 17 channels, but many of those channels are broken up or speckled. Overall, the product does not work and is in violation of the "Warranty of Merchantability" and "Fitness for a Specific Purpose" of the Uniform Commercial Code. The excuse that the company provides is that it depends upon your immediate location. Interference can occur from any number of sources including trees and the weather. Considering that the testing area occurred in a major metropolitan city with nearly 3 to 5 million people, this assertion is not likely.
Moreover, the company charges $7 for shipping and handling and again charges $3 for returning the product "Back to Sender". I would discourage anybody from purchasing this product because it appears to be funding the postal service for the shipping charges. If the product does not work for everybody, then the company should not be making any promises about it to the public, especially on television commercials. Consumers should be discouraged from making this purchase until the company configures the product to work correctly.
