Michael Williams told me he was an attorney. I hired thim to help me with an eviction. I paid him to represent me in court but the tenant ended up vacating the property so his services were not needed after all.
I had mentioned to him that my Father had recently passed and shared some issues I was having with the probate. He said he could could handle the probate and apply what I had already paid towards the probate case. I agreed and dished out another $1,300.
After he received the money I never heard from him again. I filed a complaint with the state bar and was told that he is not an attorney. He told them I hired him for the eviction but he never claimed to be an attorney and there was never any mention of him handling the probate case or any additional funds received.
This man did nothing at all, the only thing he did was pretend to be a lawyer and take my money. He did contact me to ask for payment but other than that he did nothing. I had to pay for a real lawyer for the probate. Micheal Williams said he was a lawyer to scam some money off of me when he is not a lawyer.
I was struggling financially after putting my father to rest but still managed to pay him. I have receipts for the money I paid and one states Probate matters for the Estate. I have copies of all emails and my phone also records all my conversations.
