They responded that I would be sent another order for both products and my trial period would be extended. Upon receiving the second product the very next day, I called and cancelled all future orders, as I could tell that this was a scam. My visa bill arrived and I was charged for both items (although they only sent me the original "free sample"). I called customer support and was told that "I agreed to the conditions". However, the "conditions" stated that I had fourteen days to cancel, and I had cancelled within two days of receiving the product.
Please read the second page. I described in full what happened. Basically, the clairskin company charged me for two samples, and additionally for the first months supply of the two products. I received one sample 12 days after the billing and the other sample 13 days later. Supposedly I had 14 days to try them. I called to cancel any future orders, and was told that that would happen. My visa bill showed that I was charged for a shipment of both products, from two different sources (GA, OH).
I called to inquire why and to notify them that I was disputing the charges. They told me that I was charged because it was after my 14 day trial period, which they calculated from the shipping date, not the delivery date. They also only sent me the original "trial" products, even though I was billed for the next month. I agreed to a fourteen day trial period. I did not agree to be charged for a product that I had only one day to try. I also do not see how I can be charged for another months supply on July 10 for a product that I have not received.
I responded to an ad attached to something ono Facebook. It stated that it was a product Kate Middleton used and wouldhelp rid my skin of wrinkles. It was also free, I don't even remember paying for the shipping. Once I received it, I tried it and it left huge red bumps on my neck and shoulders.
I stopped using it and figured I had nothing to lose. I had not seen anything relating to terms and conditions that apparently stated you had to respond in 14 days.
For the past two months, this company has taken $94.26 from my checking account without my permission. When I called they said they could only give me a partial refund of $47 each for the two months. Because I didn't give my permission I would like the rest of the money back. It's a lot for a cream that left with with huge red bumps! I plan to call my bank tomorrow to dispute the money.
I feel this company should be fined and forced to return the funds to all the people they ripped off!
Offered free sample skin care for shipping cost only at $4.95. However, charged $89. with expected monthly reoccurring charges of $89. Said there was a 14 day cancelation agreement required or you are automatically signed up. I saw nothing stating any of that. I called them and cancelled but they were only willing to refund 50%. of product charge. Such a Scam!
I ordered free eye cream & face cream from Clair skin, that advertised charging me shipping only.
This month (August2017), I was charged $90.00 for each cream -total $180.00. I thought I had carefully checked the fine print, but evidently in the ad (well hidden) i supposedly signed up for a monthly delivery.
My daughter canceled the next month, but I evidently have to pay for this month.
Someone complained that these companies change their names all the time.
The other company that I am complaining about is "Creative Items. It has a wesite. I bought two items (cami-tank top with bra) that came directly from China (Chinese Co.) with no papers inside, incase, you need to return your purchase.
I have not received a return address, after getting several e-mails, asking me questions, asking me to take a photo of the item with the packaging. They were killing time, because you have to return item within 14 days, but still did not send me a return address. I am stuck with these two items.
I ordered their skin product on June 25. It was delivered some time after 26th. I was out of town when it arrived so I don't have exact date of arrival. When I returned home it was at my house . I assume it arrived midweek while I was away.. When I returned home on July 7 I started using it. After 2 days of using my face was breaking out in sores. I spoke to my doctor, he advised to stop using and I'm probably allergic to something in it. So I called number on the label 844-640-2374 but it is not in service, so I went to Internet to locate another number. There was not one for SkinClair. But I did locate a phone number for Consortium Group LLC, which is the name on the invoice inside the package but no phone number . I located another number for the Consortium 844-210-9766 and Crystal N. Answered and I explained what the cream was doing to my face and I wanted to return it. She told me I could not return it and they would only throw it away. I told her I didn't want anymore to be sent to me and no further charges on my card. She said I only had 2weeks to cancel. What dates are they using? She said they were going to send my account to collections. I asked for a supervisor. She said she was the supervisor. I don't believe her, she wouldn't let me speak to anyone else.
Saw an ad for ClairSkin face cream on FB saying it was endorsed by Shark Tank. The ad said it was a FREE offer only asking for shipping and handling charge. I specifically looked for anything saying I would be charged for more or sent more product at a later date. There was nothing I could find saying I had 14 days to cancel my "trial" offer. I was also charged for an eye cream that I did not ask for, and called to question the extra charge. When I called they said they would cancel that product. After that call they started the 14 day process evidently. I saw the charge on my bank account on day 15. I didn't even get the product and have 14 days to use it. I had only used it for a couple of days when I saw the charge of $89.31. Called the company to ask why I was charged for anything and was told that I had agreed to it when I purchased online. I told her I had only wanted to try the product for the $4.95 shipping that it was supposed to be free. After much arguing, She said there was no one else to speak to and I wasn't getting any money back but they would cancel my order and she hung up on me!!??? I was extremely mad and upset.
I agree this is a total scam....I usually am good at reading the small print but, realized too late that I didn't SEE any small print! The packaging had no information about trials, further charges, refunds are anything from the company itself, just a packing slip with the Call Centers phone number. When I did call the company to see about sending it back, they said I missed it by a day. Do not buy from this company.
I also order the same trial product, and receive the same charges and lies.Christin offer me 35% after i asked what was musclevista was for 87.47 dollars. He stated that i authorization all those charges.Lying B-----! .They don't mind stealing from peoples. What you do too others will be dones to you worser! They think that it"s okay, that their job stealing.
I had been looking at an article concerning Joanna Gaines from HGTV's fixer upper show. It concerned her starting her own cosmetic line. the link for what I thought was her cosmetic line turned out to be a link to ClairSkin. They were offering a $4.95 "free trial" of their product. I did not see that I would have to call them and cancel anything in any time period. I then get a charge of $176.78 on my credit card. When I called to inquire, the "gentleman" said since I was not satisfied with the product, he could give me a "discount" on the products I received. There was no FREE trial, it was all a scam to get you to try their product. So he has "returned" a $61.86 credit to my card and i am stuck with a product I wouldn't use and don't want. I am also stuck with a 14.94 charge on my card. I wanted to return the stuff when I got it, but my husband said it would cost more to ship it back than to keep it. I will never again order anything "free trial" or free anything on line again. This was a total scam from start to finish. Joanna Gaines does not have a cosmetic line and that was fraudulent right from the start. Stay as far away as you can from this company and product.
I had the same experience with this company as others before me. They advertise a free trial and you pay $4.95 for shipping. Later, they charge your credit card for $89.00. I just called them and they say that terms and conditions are in small print at the bottom of their website.. They do not send it to you or make you aware of it in any way. They claim that you have 14 days to return item. They need to be stopped. I also, was offered a 50% refund when I pushed but did not take it.. Will dispute with my credit card company. Please tell everyone to never buy from this deceptive company.
They will charge your card without any notice, and it is impossible to get someone to refund the money. Nowhere do you know you will be charged, i got two charges of almost $90 each without my authorization. I was told i would get my refund in 3-5 after canceling my "whatever" it was...And nothing for one month. Then emailed again, and was directed to customer support. It took a lot of force, and me getting really upset, and belligerent to finally get 100% refund. We shall see if i actually get this money.
The person in customer service was robotic, first said no, then 30%, then 50%. I got so upset, and told her about this report, and i was going to the bbb as well...And asked to speak to her supervisor.
I do have a cancellation number, let's hope for the best.
You get the "sample" for shipping and handling, nothing available tell us what to expect. You get the sample through clair skin, then the charge on your card is reviveye. Again, trying to trap us.
In the beginning of Feb 2017 I like the first lady ordered a free sample of a skin cream to help with aging. No where did it say on the web page that it was on a trial basis. It did not state that at the end of 14 days( ordered a free 30 day supply only pay for 4.95 shipping). At the end of 14 days could cancel. No where was that mentioned. So in 14 days a got a notice from my bank that a suspecious charge was on my account. Clair skin charged my account for 90.00 for the next months supply. I immediately called the company and cancelled the account and demanded my refund as the charge was not authorized. I am on Social Security and cannot afford 90/month. Had I known I would not have ordered the sample. My bank filed a dispute. Clair Skin said they tried to contact me and left voicemail. Its a lie I do not have voicemail on my phone. I called several times- I was hung up on. I chose call back option- never called me back. I called again after emailing requesting my refund they said to take it up with my bank. So I am out of 90.00. Had to cancel debit card, and just about eliminated my grocery budget. Please help and stop this from happening to orthers like me who live month to month. I even got a confirmation email confirming my account closure. Did not make a difference.
I had ordered what I believed was just a sample of cream lotion for the eyes and face.
I did not see the 14 day trial and if I kept it or did not cancel I would be charged the full amount.
I am usually very good about watching for this stuff.
I just happened to check my credit card statement and there are 2 charges one for 87.47 and 89.31 nice total of 176.78.
So as my credit card suggest contact the seller first.
What a run around. I was told I agreed to this and its past the 14 days. Needless to say I was livid with this amount for some darn lotion.
I wanted a supervisor, seems they don't have any around....so I said you reverse these charges or I am going to my credit card company.
I was told if I do that I would be charged 30.00....for what???
So again I kept pushing to refund, so she puts me on hold comes back and says I will refund you 50% on each charge....what could I do? I had to accept that.
So now paying 87.00 for something that is not worth a dime.
Yes I learned my lesson but I usually am very careful about this type of thing....so it must be in very very fine print!
A company like this I would love to see out of business.

Clairskin is a rip off. Represent as a trial period and then they charge almost $200.00 for two small bottles. Refuse to refund.
