I had a very bad experience at this store. The customer service is completely lacking and the employees are incompetent. A will never shop there again. I had my baby’s ears pierced a few weeks ago at a different location. One of the earrings fell off after a few days and I went to this location in Orland Park hoping that they will pierce it again. I had the earring; all I needed was someone to help me insert it back. When I got in, I explained why I was there. Because I did not have the receipt with me, they had to call the store where I had the piercing done to verify.
I was ok with this and willing to wait. I waited over an hour, with one employee telling us that we are next. When our turn came, they realized that nobody called the other store in the meantime and they cannot do the piercing. My baby got so fussy and started crying because we had waited so long. I told them that I would pay for it, but it seems that I had to buy a new set of earrings for this and I did not want that. They would not allow me to pay just for the piercing. After spending an hour waiting with a very active 12 month old baby who was becoming fussier and fussier, I finally gave up and left.
I hope that the store will change the rules regarding redoing piercing and will not charge a full price for someone who has the earnings from them and all is needed is piercing. Or at least they could have a price just for piercing one ear that would be reasonable.
