This concert/comedy venue is poisoned by abominable customer service and drunk on it's annoying carnival-barking attempts to lure concert buyers into joining it's wine clubs.
You'll experience nauseating, time-wasting glitches and alleged server errors, which prevents completing most tasks-- City Winery is a quicksand pit of dizzying and deceptive voicemail, inviting you to leave messages for a box that's always full-- their constant trolling to suck music lovers into their wine world, suggests getting new Yorkers drunk obviates the need to operate sensibly. They must also think they're an airline by adding preposterous fees which offer to protect your tickets against a host of entertainment calamities-- any venue that makes 'Ticketmeister' look professional is in big trouble-- the thought that visiting their actual box office would be faster than placing an online order is pathetic-- the bottom line is, these are not smooth operators, and they sure ain't The Bottom Line (rest in peace)-- City Winery needs considerable refinery-- right now they are on 11th Avenue, but if they keep not doing what they're not doing, it won't be long before they move a bit further west and sink unceremoniously on 13th Avenue!
