A few years back I was approached by a Julio Caro about financing for a film project. He made it sound like if I invested I would make a substantial amount of profit on my investment. You can call me a fool but I trusted him enough to give him $100,000. Mr. Caro abandoned ship shortly after. He avoided my phone calls and I couldn’t get in touch with him.
A sometime after that I read in the newspapers that he was arrested and charged and convicted with embezzling funds from Ron Burkle who owned the SoHo Club in LA. Google his name and Ron Burkle and you will see many articles show up on Julio Caro and the crime. Mr. Caro spent some time in jail for the crime. He is now out and about and employed by Terrero Films.
Why a person of low morals and no integrity would be hired by anyone is really is anyone’s guess. But I want to warn anyone who does business with Terrero Films to be careful. You can lose a lot of money dealing with crooks or people who associate with crooks.
