This corrupt outfit,Chrysler Capital, knows very well some individuals financial situation changes and cannot afford their overpricing and outrageous interest rates. They are the most greedy rudiest corporation in the US. They will reposses your car then years later attempt to sue you. They should be sued class action as well as investigated into their harrassment techniques and shady business dealings by the State Attorney General.

My wife & I purchased a Ram 1500 in March of 2014. When it was purchased I was in the military & Chrysler Capital placed me under the Service Member Civil Relief Act to which I had no knowledge of. We found out in late 2016 that it was not being reported to the credit bureaus. I have filled out paper work for them to report to the three major credit bureaus. Chrysler Capital received the paper work on 12/28/2017. Once I had returned the signed paperwork, I was told that it would take approximately thirty days for it to show up on my credit reports. By the end of February nothing was showing on any of the reports. Since that time I have been calling back regularly to get this added to my credit. So far, as of today May 20, 2017 only one payment has posted. There is over three years of on time payments at this point, and I have nothing to show for it. This has affected where my credit score should be at this time tremendously. I have spoken with the “Office of the President” Numerous times without success. I am tired doing my part in making my payment & Chrysler Capital is not capable of doing their part required by law & reporting to the credit bureaus. I have been getting the run around from this company for almost 6 months & have got nothing accomplished. I would highly discourage anyone from using Chrysler Capital or any of its affiliates.

Your loan is $450, you pay $500 every month in an effort to pay down your loan and save yourself longterm interest charges. The application of the extra $50 to your principle balance IS NOT AN OPTION with Chrysler Capital. Never experienced, never heard of such a simple failure with a major financial institution. Stay away, if this option is not available, it demonstrates the true intention of the company to nickel and dime their customers. Their answer is to physically call in every month and request the over-payment be applied to principle. Embarrassingly awful...

I have leased two vehicles with Button Dodge. Always read your contracts very carefully before signing. The first lease I traded in a car I purchased with a loan from a credit union. It was a Dodge Caliper and basically a lemon. So I traded this vehicle in with a 5000 trade allowance but they said they had to cover the balance of my loan and apply it to the lease which was approximately 5000. So essentially the tradein and balance on the loan should have just made it a zero tradein. They didn't write the paperwork this way however so the dealer wrote this new lease for the value of the new lease vehicle plus the 5000 which should have been zero. So I get ready to end this lease and do another lease. The first least was for $425. The second lease they say the value of the loan which was tacked onto the lease was not paid in full even though I finished the lease payments. I turned the lease in needing tires abd 500 miles over. Not many miles over. So the new lease on a similar vehicle same price is now $494. I didn't think anything about it until I start comparing lease payments with other people who have worse credit than me and their lease payments for the same vehicle is $191 a month. I went to another dealer to confirm that yes I was ripped off. Same company different dealer. Who committed fraud Button Dodge or Chrysler Capital or both?

I purchased a lease from chrysler capital in May of 2013, and was billed wrong for my payments, through out the course of the lease. I was sent repo letters for the car when they had been taking auto pmts from my checking acct, and was never late with a pmt. I was overcharged for my car registration in 2015 and they won't issue me a refund for the overage. The leased was closed out on March 7 of 2016 and they still report it on my credit as open with a balance and won't correct it.

They also won't send me a paid in full letter to give to the credit card company to show the acct was pd off in March since I purchased the car at lease end. They up the buy price on the car and added all these other charges to my lease and never told me that these charged would be applied at lease end.

When you call the office in Tx they wouldn't transfer calls to the proper dept, they force you to deal with the office of the president which is a joke becasue these people don't know what they are doing. [continued below]....

Buddy

I have the same problem and was dumb enough to lease a second time from them. I realized I got scammed after I started comparing lease payments for the same vehicle with others. The only difference is they bought theirs from another dealer. Dealer/Chrysler Capital = Fraud.

Over the last two months I have been fighting with Chrysler Finance in order to get my refund due issued in a form of a payment. Over the last two months they have claimed that the check was in the mail, asked that I contact Citi Bank and JP Morgan Chase Bank so that I can deal with my refund on my (WTF).

They are defrauding the customers and holding money that is not theres by coming up with excuses (process changes) preventing them from refund money due.

I will NEVER deal with them again. Surprised a class action suit has not been filed regarding their behavior !!! FRAUD

I was financing a Jeep Liberty - which had three re- calls in the first two years. One was not performed correctly and after almost six or seven attempts to trade the car in - I went to FREEHOLD Pontiac GMC Freehold NJ who then - took my vehicle JEEP (Black) Promised me as a DEaler that there would be no issues with Chrysler! They as my dealer took the keys and sold me a 2009 Pontiac Torrent. AGAIN Chrysler was completely informed that their vehicle was not serviced correctly and a list of engine and mechanical failures. I was a sales rep - still am - and relied on my vehicle daily to take me from place to place. AFTER NO Resolution - GMC Freehold - AGAIN - assured me " we will get you out of the jeep - no more worries!" - I trusted the dealer. I trusted Chrysler. Everyone was in constant contact. The balance was to be voided or reduced into my new car. I paid almost 500 a month for the TORRENT. Traded it in in 2013 after almost 4 years. All was OK I thought!! I NOW have a 9467 judgement against my HOME : at 16 Cardinal Lane HOWELL NJ! UNACCEPTABLE. This should never be!! I would have NEVER returned the JEEP snd gotten into the Torrent IF I knew what was REALLY going on! I was scammed and this must be escalated - this judgement must be removed immediately!!! It has affected my ability in life - it is almost 10K !!! It is wrong and I have 2 FT college students. I am also a cancer survivor with many medical bills. MY HOME is my only asset. My credit is critical to my abilities in the future! CHRYSLER needs to go to the dealer as they took responsibility of the vehicle at trade in! WHY am I responsible and hindered - WHY any JUDGEMENT! I want this removed. I was lied to - I was mislead! I was ripped off for sure!

I need this removed asap! I need no other problems with CHRYSLER nor the Management at GMS Freehold Pontiac who oddly - became GMC BUICK - I wonder why?? Probably to protect themselves for what they did to me - YEARS LATER this 9467.00 judgement is on my home! AFFECTS me in life and I did nothing wrong but bring a defective vehicle to a dealer as a trade and got into a new finance. NO one told me they did not pay off Chysler - No one told me this was going to be! Unacceptable ! I need it eliminated asap!!

In January 2015 we financed a 2014 dodge charger through Chrysler Capitol. 1st of all this was my 1st time doing this and my grandmother put the car in her name because my credit is not so good. When I got the car the dealership had told me my grandmother and/or myself would be receiving our 1st bill in the mail within 30-90days. After almost 90days we still were waiting and calling the dealership constantly to find out the bank name we were financed through so we could find out when our 1st payment was due(I had already put 1mo payment aside waiting to find out who to pay). Then out of the blue my grandmother gets a call from the bank stating we are 2mo behind and in less then a week the 3rd payment would be due. Side note: the dealership never gave my grandmother or myself a copy of the contract(they had to mail the original to my grandmother in another state for her to sign then mail back hence why we didn't receive a copy at the dealership the day we got the car). Anyways I talked to them and explained what happened with the dealership and stated that neither myself or my grandmother never received anything from the bank ever about the car payment whether it was due/late anything.

They said they mailed out a notice but no one ever received it. I paid one month that day then tried playing catch up since. I had the car since jan 3 2015 apparently my 1st payment was due jan 17th. We had the car until aug 2015. I had been out of work for a month in aug due to maternity leave. I had talked to them almost everyday the entire time I was out of work. I had made arrangements that when I received my TDI from the state I would be making a 2mo payment which would put me at 1mo behind once I made the payment. They agreed it was ok to do so and claimed to put it in the system. Well literally the next day they repoed the car less than one week before I would have been paying them(2mo payment would be $1200). When I called them they said I had 10days to pay almost $3000 to get the car back. Being out of work I couldn't do that I was already giving them 90%of my money. They also stated that my payment arrangement was never noted in anyway.

There system showed I hadn't made contact with anyone in weeks which was bull****. Now they took the car and put the repo on my grandmothers credit within 2wks of taking the car. They lied to me, I tried everything to catch up with the car but it was hard. 2wks after getting the car I found out I was pregnant therefore all my overtime was cut and I no longer could work more than 8hrs a day under any circumstances. I talked to them at least a few times a week they entire time I had the car trying to pay every penny I could to them to keep the car. Never do business with them! I regret it to this day... I should have known there was an issue from day one when they never sent any bills until almost 4mo after getting the car.

Stay away from these people, they are heartless, horrible, greedy, despicable human beings.I don't know how they sleep at night!

I bought a 2015 Fiat 500 from Fiat of Ontario. Chrysler Capital financed the car at 19% interest and charged me a $900 "Bank fee." There were problems with the Fiat that could not be fixed so the dealership who also sells Jeeps told me to bring the car back and they would give me back everything I paid for it and put me in another car. This time Chrysler Capital charged me a $1,200 "Bank fee" and 21.5% interest. When I questioned the interest rate increase CC told me that it is the dealership that "chooses" the rate, when I questioned the dealership they showed me the form from CC that clearly showed the 21.5% percent interest rate, so CC lied to me.

When I bought the Jeep, I was asked by the dealership to purchase an extended warranty contract so they could break even on the deal. So I did, after having been told that after 30 days I could cancel it and get the $2,100 back as a refund, back to me. Well, that wasn't true, I am dealing with the dealership on that as we speak, however, I requested that CC credit my account payments with the $2K, they refused. So, after charging me $2,100 in "Bank fees" and a 21.5% interest rate, they refused to do what I asked them to do.

It is clear to me that they have no interest in keeping me even remotely happy, there is no lever of acceptable customer service in any of this, and they are horrible, heartless, greedy people, and are the poster child for what is wrong with "capitalism" in this country.

There was a day...but no more, and I HATE these people. My advice, stay away!
