They close your account randomly. There's no warning of this in small print I read it). Not only do they randomly close your account, they do it with funds in it and say it will take 30 days to recieve a check.

There is no warning. You get the email when they do it.

This is one way they retain funds for investments. Another is they keep cards as people recieve direct deposits, and they're unable to access their funds.

Remember, banks dont just hold your money, they invest it. Think about why they're re doing this. It's a scam!

I signed up with chime card services on tuesday - june 13th 2017, chime sent a notification of my 1st deposit on thursday - june 15th 2017. It took chime 48 hours to gain access to my money. I don't have access to my money because i don't have the debit card!!!

I called customer service and was advised that my car was mailed on june 14th 2017. As of june 22nd 2017- i still haven't received my debit card! therefore i still don't have access to my money. Unable to purchase gas, food and other household items. The only option i have is to pay bills using the routing and account number.

I called customer service and asked if i can transfer my money to another chime holder account; the cs rep said yes however that was completely false as well.

I called back to customer service last night - june 21st 2017 and asked the cs rep - what's the delay and why is it taking so long for me to receive my card. His response was the card was mailed on june 15th Not june 14th) and somehow the card was returned back to san francisco on june 17th. So, you're telling me you mailed my card on june 15th and it was returned back in san francisco within 2 days - really?!?! i asked to speak to a supervisor and he hung up. I called back and chime customer service was closed.

This is the worse experience i've received regarding my money!

Don't use chime card services in any regard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed on my card that there was a transaction for $500.49 that i didn't authorize and i immediately contacted cardholder services to inquire about it. My card was blocked and a new one was mailed out. I follow all the procedures with chime and bancorp only to be told that my claim was denied and that i am responsible for the transaction. I have direct deposit say up on my chime card and i work hard for my money only to be told that someone can easily rip me off and they company i intrusted my services to doesn't have my back isn't fair. In the paperwork that comes with the card states that my money is fdic insured is a lie as well as the statement that if i report the situation in a timely matter i won't be held liable is a lie. I suggest to all stay away from a chime card because they can care less about they customer.

My card number was used fraudulently for $50.00 twice at some Walmart in Pennsylvania. I discovered the fraudulent use immediately and reported it to Chimecard. When the 2 transactions settled, I filed the appropriate paperwork with Bancorp. I followed the requirements of the law exactly. Today, they tell me that my claim is "unsubstantiated" and that I am responsible for the charges. This is part of the letter that I sent to Chhimecard. Also, I called Bancorp and they did not seem to care. This is an absolute ripoff by Chimecard. This is a debit card, not a credit card, so I am sure that they could not care less about their customer.

"I was told today at your call center and at Bancorp that my claim is considered “unsubstantiated”. I am in shock. My card number was used fraudulently although I was still in possession of the card. So now I have to take a loss of $100. I had not been to Pennsylvania nor did I use my card at Walmart or any Walmart. Nor does anyone have access to my card or the number.

This is unacceptable that my card number was somehow used fraudulently and you are holding me responsible. This is not the kind of publicity that ChimeCard or Bancorp would want. However, I will post the facts and let people decide. I as a customer do not intend to get ripped off and not have your bank stand behind its customers."

I have been using chime Bank for about 6 months now and I've had nothing but bad experience the customer service is unprofessional the way they handle business is unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone for this debit card. I recently lost my card use their app to get a replacement card after time went on I never received my card. So I called customer service they said my card was never received because I didn't do it through them because I use the app. So then I had a representative say they were going to send me an expedited card and days later there still was no card call back and acknowledge that the it was there negligence a rep Got snippy there are no supervisors they sound as if they're running their business out of someone's home and I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
