Chevron Corporation Reviews
This company is dangerously and an ethically using US taxpayers money to pay a private court to go after Don Ziger. The judge is a close relation to CHEVRON! They are doing this because they lost a huge lawsuit against Ecuadorians people over the damage they have caused.
Chevron Is setting a very dangerous precedence here!! It's not acceptable and I will sing it to the top of my lungs I will not except this I will never spend a dime at a Chevron gas station until they leave him alone and stop this private court case with money that should be used for the American people NOT REVENGE!!!
STAY AWAY from this gas station!!!!
I went to this gas station on August 30, 2020 to fill up my rented car before I returned to my country. It is very near the Ft Lauderdale airport.
To my surprise after 2 days (September 1st) they charged 4 times the credit card that I used there: at 19:33 usd 1,09 and right after usd 99,70. At 19:40 usd 1,00 and usd 99,56.
When I found out about the fraud on my card, I looked at the review at google and found that I wasn't the only person that this happened.
They are thieves that use international cards to ripp off people (international cards you can't pay direct from the gas pump, you have to go to the cashier).
Now I'm trying to contest these transactions with my credit card company and resolve the matter.
Something has to be done to this establishment!!
I use Chevron where I spend my summers. I scoot down to Florida for the winter and drive an extra 10 miles one way to use Chevron gas. My mechanic tells me its the best for my car. Have noticed over time that the amount of money I've been prepaying doesn't seem to reflect where it should on my gas gauge. I've been writing it off thinking it was just my imagination. Well on 11/08/2016 I bought a 5 gallon gas container and went to fill it up. I prepaid $40, the rest would go in my gas tank. It took 5.6 gallons, according to the pump meter, to fill up my 5 gallon gas can. How can that be? It can't! It was then I knew I had been getting ripped off all along. I told the workers there - no one seemed to care. I contacted Chevron via email on its contact form. I am furious. How many other people have been getting ripped off? WHO gets the extra money - Chevron or the owners of the station? How many other other people have unknowingly been getting ripped off? Well ... they've been getting away with it and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it but complain.
7/27/16 I purchased 10.00 in gas (and a 6.99 car wash code expires 8/5/16). 7/28/16 Returned to get car washed, entered code and it was denied. Pushed "Help" button4-5 times, no one came. Went into cashier, she told me "Help button doesnt work! and someone already used that code yesterday. I explained I bought gas yesterday but didn't have time to use the car wash. Threw receipt at me, told me Pay Again if I wanted to use Car wash. She moved on to another customer. Asked for her help, finally got a phone number that was not equipped to handle situation, 3 phone#'s later filed a complaint with and against Chevron Gas station aka The Enterprises Inc. also phoned my own bank to dispute charges. Freaking hassle over a simple 6.99 car wash, if she hadn't been so rude, dismissive and disrespectful...
On July 28 2015 at 8.55pm., I went in to buy 2 dollars megamilion lotto. The Indian employee took the money and give me a ticket. I left, and did not look at it until the next day. Turned out the guy only gave me one dolar lotto ticket, instead of two that I purchased.
This might sound so little and I should not have complained, except that this particular gas station has done it in the past. This happened to me twice. A dollar from each customer they steal throug out the years will accumulate to me thousands of dollars.
I called the manager to complained, and what he said only showed his malpractice. He said it was my fault for not checking to see if I have received the lotto in the amount I purchased or not. Granted that I should have dont so, I only called to tell him about the situation and that he should be aware of his employees. I did not know the whole management perhaps are in it together, because all employess are Indian. Go figure.!!
