I'm an interior designer in San Francisco, exactly the same thing happen to me. Ordered 4 cabinets in layte 2016 and to this day have not seen even a splinter. This is a total scam and should be avoided at all costs.
I am an interior designer. In July of 2017 I ordered a custom chest for a client from ChestKind. I was told a 12-14 weeks delivery time and paid a 50% deposit. Nine months later I still do not have my client's chest. I have sent dozens of emails and left dozens of voice messages and most went unreturned. The two times Jacek the owner did get back to me it was excuses and then an outright lie that my client would have the chest by early January. It's now almost Febuary and he has gone silent. I get no respond to emails, texts or phone calls. DO NOT BUY FROM CHESTKIND. I was scammed and my money is gone.
A notice to all interior designers not to deal with this company no matter what. Our firm ordered 4 cabinets form Chestkind in Dec 2016 paid a 50% deposit and to this day we have received nothing - 9 months. this was to be a 3-month turnaround. After constant phone calls (no replies) and so emails (no reply) we did on one occasion received a callback confirming that the goods are almost completed and will be in New Jersey with in 3 weeks, that was three months ago. We have now resellcted and about to take legal acction against Chestkind and it's owner Jacek Nidzgorski. If you have had similar dealings with this man and his socalled company spread the word so no others will be ripped off by his criminal tactics.
Custom chests by ChestKind were designed with CAD drawing assistance and took many months to produce, 5 months longer than what was promised. Numerous calls and text messages were placed to Jacek Nidzgorski for the chests to even be delivered. And once they were, they were missing hardware. Jacked stopped returning our calls about 2 months after the chests arrived, with no updates on the missing hardware or a resolution to the problem. Jacek has seemingly disappeared and my company will never do business with him again as we have spent over 35+ hours on sourcing, procuring and installing hardware that was promised to me, and me to my client, representative of what Chestkind's drawings represented.
