Irving Oil / Circle K uses this company as part of their Debit Pay loyalty program. I had ONE of my transactions bounce for $35. Zipline sent me an email informing me of this and that there was a $35 fee that would be automatically deducted from my debit account in the following 5 business days and to make sure the funds were there. OK, fine.
Then, the same day, these people called. They called my work. They called my house. They called my cell phone. They threatened my boss. They threatened my boyfriend. I asked politely about the debt they were trying to collect. They would not give me information. I felt rushed.
They threatened me with more fees. I said that that was not legal. Then they hung up on me. I called back and asked them to validate the debt, could they tell me who had sold them the debt and how old the debt was.
They called me a dumb b**** and hung up on me again. I don't appreciate being called names. I have contacted Irving and their affiliate, Zipline about this. All of this over $35. Ridiculous!!!!!!
This company try the rip me off my posting the payment twice. my bank caught it and sent it back. the keep calling me on my cell after i told them not to number of times . couple of time it was by robo call saying i still own them money whitch i dont. yes i did get upset with them who wouldnt .they taken money from me that dont belong to them it theif ,or fraud so i take to many csr ,it go so bad i had to have me cell number change because of this . the bosses as just as rude as the csr the tell you your stupid you dont know what your talking about. the head boss is the one i spoke too. she was the rudies one of all the know the doing wrong but dont care
This company is the biggest ripoff in the world. My account was overdrawn because of all the debits. On one day November 20, 2017 theydebited my account 4 times. I am cancelling my SmartPay card for Cumberland Farm because getting 10 cents off a gallon of gas is NOT worthdealing with these con artists. I also wrote the President of Cumberland Farm telling him what despictable vendors his company is doing business with. I read where another customer sought lega advice and I am thinking of doing so, as well. I was happy wo hear that got some money for all his troubles.
These people have to be stopped ripping people off then lying to the customer to cover up their illegal practices. BTW, I am also going to file a complaint with the New York State Attorney General office. He loves gpoing after these con artists!
