My name is Sherrod Dickson with Dickson Sign Co. I've recently attempted to switch my merchant services account to Chase Paymentech from Square. The reason I tried to switch is because I thought it would make more sense to have my credit card processing done with the bank whom I've banked with for 7yrs+. I initially got a sales person Travis Wikes as an account rep.

He stated that signing up with Chase Paymentech was simple and user friendly. My experience has been anything but that. He signed me up and never called back to notify me if I was approved or not which I was told takes just a few minutes or so. I called/emailed him for 2days with no response. So I went inside the Cedar Hill, TX branch where a nice business banker lady helped me.

She called Travis and got no answer as well. She then proceeded to email him and copied his manager on it. After an hour we still hadn't received any info on my account. I left the bank and about 5hrs later received a email saying I was approved and could start taking payments immediately.

Well at this point I was sceptical about working with Chase's processing company and found the "Orbital" user interface isn't what I asked for because it didn't look user friendly like my experience with Square was but wanted to at least give them a chance. I finished signing up and entered 2 credit card payments totaling $1,200.00.

1st I was told by Travis and another Chase Paymentech phone rep that all I had to do was batch my payments and they'll be deposited the next day, so I did just that. Well, 24hrs had passed and no deposited money. I called in again to see what was the hold up and I was told to give it till the next day and it'll be there, so reluctantly I did.

Next day, still no money. I call back and was told by a "Risk" manager named Jada that by my account being new that it'll take 72hrs to process. 72hrs came and went and still no money deposited. Now, very very frustrated I called another manager at Paymentech and she says that I should've been adviced not to process payments on the same day you open the account (which I see no where in the paperwork).

They transferred me back to Jada and she tells me that she's emailed the proper people to get this fixed and to get my money deposited. After several hours and still no money I call back and they literally tell me, "we don't know what to say". That's a horrible feeling for a small business owner like me to hear the banking establishment that I decided to trust with my money is unsure where my money is located.

It's now been over 5days and still no money deposited. This money is a deposit from one of my clients that I'm doing a job for. So the money is needed to buy material for the job that I can't start on because of this. Naturally this will cause me to be late on finishing this project for my client and I could possibly lose this client. Like I stated before I was using Square for about 4yrs now with ZERO problems.

It's easy to sign up, It has a user friendly interface and no customer service reps to talk to but they're not needed because everything is easy with Square. I thought by Chase being the leader in the banking industry and that I've banked there for years now that this could be better. I was totally wrong. This has been my most frustrating time in business.

The only reason I didn't look at the BBB and Yelp reviews is because I'm currently banking with Chase and didn't expect this fiasco. But the reviews on Chase Paymentech have alot of similar stories as mine. People being lied to and mislead. I wouldn't reccomend anybody using this as a means to process credit cards. At this point I would like my money deposited and I'll never process a payment with you guys again. Thanks

Chase Paymentech Stole 4 days worth of credit card transactions from my business and then cleaned out my business account and put it to $7000 below zero, they closed my merchant services without any reason or notification and when run they say that they can do what they want because its in there terms, they tell me i can have my $20000 back maybe after 6 months, these guys are scammers and thiefs check out their BBB report you will see the same story over and over again,
